That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 4 Review and Recap – Anti Magic Barrier Is Ready

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 4 Review A Lot Of Information Incoming

We were presented with another very information-oriented episode where we got more details about the nation of Jura Tempest Federation and how it is working right now. The first half is where things are most interesting as we see how much progress the people of Tempest have made in their time. In the first meeting, Rimuru and others discuss how more and more monsters are coming very close towards their nation and how can they deal with this problem.

Souei who has no issues with completely chopping down any monsters does not see any problem with this. But Gobta points out how it can be challenging for his goblin riders. And obviously countering him, the only solution Souei could find was for them to get more training. But that is when Vesta and others announce that they have been secretly working on a project regarding this.

So that the monsters do not attack the festival they have already made a prototype of a fully automatic magic generator that can produce an anti-magic barrier. Plus, it is not just a normal device, but a highly advanced one with more than one function to it. Things like this truly demonstrate just how advanced this small nation, that Rimuru created without any prior thinking, has become.

But even though this device is highly powerful and effective, there is still one thing that it cannot handle and that is Veldora’s immense aura. Veldora has been suffering quite a lot as he cannot let his aura out in fear of demolishing the Jura Tempest Federation. Thus, he asks Rimuru to come up with an idea soon through which he can finally unleash his true power.

After this, the episode shifts to its second half where we get more information on Jura Tempest’s current ordeals and any future threats. Here they also discuss Hinata Sakaguchi’s motives and who was the mastermind behind all the attacks that Rimuru has faced till now.

Verdict

It is true that Tensura expertly handles its world-building and gives proper information about every character making future events all the more entertaining. But it is also true that things become a bit boring and monotonous when we are getting fed information continuously without any action. So even if this episode was just decent, it still helped us get into the right mindset, which is always a positive thing.
