The episode begins with Rimuru reflecting on the immense challenge of constructing an arena and a labyrinth within a few months. Despite the seemingly impossible task, the arena is nearly complete ahead of schedule, thanks to the timely assistance from the Beastmen.

Following this, we see Rimuru and Ramiris collaborating on expanding the dungeon by adding more floors. Rimuru plans to increase the dungeon’s difficulty progressively by populating the deeper levels with stronger monsters. Concurrently, he assigns Kurobe a special task to forge powerful armour and swords to be hidden in the dungeon’s treasure chests, adding an element of surprise for adventurers. This strategy is part of Rimuru’s vision to elevate Tempest as a formidable nation, demonstrating his effective leadership.

During a meeting with Kurobe, Rimuru receives a custom-made sword described as Kurobe’s finest work. The weapon, though seemingly simple, possesses the unique ability to grow and evolve with Rimuru’s energy, potentially becoming a legend-class weapon.

Rimuru also involves Veldora, cleverly enticing him to become the dungeon’s overlord. He devises a method to harness Veldora’s immense aura, allowing it to run wild and attract strong monsters to the dungeon. This arrangement benefits both Rimuru and Veldora.

This one was one of my favourite episodes this season, as we saw a lot of interesting things happen here. The episode opens with Milim visiting Rimuru while he is still having important discussions about the dungeon. She quickly starts a fight with Ramiris, after Milim gets to know that she will be living with Rimuru. Milim becomes extremely jealous of the whole idea and demands that she live in Jura Tempest, as well. However, that is not possible as Milim has her own jurisdiction to monitor.

As Milim wanted to help Rimuru with his work, he asked her to capture some dragons for the dungeons. She successfully captures very important four elemental dragons, namely the earth dragon, wind dragon, ice dragon and fire dragon. Apart from that, monsters also started spawning inside the dungeon because of Veldora’s magicule. They also set up elaborate traps and poison chambers, making the entire dungeon a very thrilling yet dangerous place.

But the main work is still not done. After becoming a Demon Lord, Rimuru was yet to address the population of the Jura Tempest forest in an official ceremony. Thus, he decides to hold an audience ceremony where he will formally meet the monster representatives and see whether they would want to come under his protection or not. As usual, some of the monsters readily accepted Rimuru as their Lord and sought his protection earnestly. However, there were some, especially two groups, who were too busy fighting with each other and only wanted Rimuru for leverage.

Before Rimuru could discipline them, a new threat arrived in front of him. They are so powerful that they are even able to break Shuna’s barrier and silence the two brawling groups of monsters.

Verdict

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 15 Review A New King Is Born

This episode was way more interesting and engaging than the previous episodes, which mainly had economic and political discussions. I prefer detailed world-building, which is why I just love how meticulously this anime handles such boring subjects.
