Ted Lasso Season 3 Episode 6 Reactions: New Friendships Take Fans on an Emotionally Personal Ride

Ted Lasso Season 3 Episode 6 reactions are out on Twitter now that the new episode has premiered. The Apple TV+ series has been developed by Jason Sudeikis, Bill Lawrence, Brendan Hunt and Joe Kelly. It stars Sudeikis as Lasso, Hunt as Coach Beard, Hannah Waddhingham as Rebecca Welton, Jeremy Swift as Leslie Higgins, Phil Dunster as Jamie Tartt, Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent, Nick Mohammed as Nathan Shelley, Juno Temple as Keeley Jones, and Anthony Head as Rupert Mannion alongside others.

Ted Lasso Season 3 Episode 6, titled ‘Sunflowers’, dropped on the streaming platform on April 19, 2023. Its official synopsis reads: ““A friendly match takes the team to Amsterdam, where one night out unlocks truths for many.”

The new episode follows the Richmond Greyhounds’ trip to Amsterdam for a friendly match that is again on an unfavourable note for them. However, it soon transforms into the getaway they all need to act freely and find the much-needed shift in perception to turn around the game board. Ted finds inspiration at an American-themed diner in Amsterdam that inadvertently helps cure his homesickness. All he needs to develop a new game plan are the happy memories shared with his dad, the dartboard and the Barbecue sauce.

Ted Lasso Season 3 Episode 6 reactions Roy-Jamie

More importantly, the dynamic shared between Roy Kent (Goldstein) and Jamie Tartt (Dunster) took a turn for the better – not only for the show but for these characters too. Fans have taken a liking for Dunster’s character, which is a shock to them, too, as he was initially one of the most despised characters on the show (with, of course, room to be better, and he worked on it). This evolution has, in turn, cleared up space for some of the best and warm moments between him and Goldstein’s Roy, who is not only the former’s coach now but also a mentor and a friend (whether he admits it or not).

Except these two, Colin (Billy Harris), who’s kept his sexuality hushed down till now, also found a friend in Trent Crimm (James Lance), a fellow member of the LGBTQ community. Their conversation in the latest episode has struck a chord with the viewers of the show, who are absolutely in awe of how each episode gets the better of their emotions despite being a mere sitcom.

The show has surpassed the expectations it set earlier and has proven to be a heartwarmingly welcoming change in the OTT space. Seeing these two members of the LGBTQ community at a gay club, having the time of their lives, is possibly one of the happiest moments of the series since the beginning, and it has all the more mapped out a personal story for those fans who relate to and feel for it.
