In case you missed it, Taylor Swift is gearing up for another tour this year titled The Eras Tour, and fans are fighting each other to see which songs she will be singing on stage. The news of her tour came out swiftly after her 10th studio album Midnights was released.
From then till now, there have been countless setlists making the rounds of the internet, with fans speculating and adding their own choices. Throwing our hat into the ring too, here are some songs we hope she performs on The Eras Tour.
Anti-Hero
Recently, Swift was seen singing the lead single off Midnights at The 1975 concert. This live version of the song has since lodged itself in the collective consciousness and has become imperative that she performs it during the tour. Every part of the song is perfect for a Taylor Swift performance. It has iconic lyricism, an instrumental feel, and the dance-ability and catchiness of every Tiktok trend ever. Additionally, it would be a wonderful way to start the tour by going, “It’s me, Hi! I’m the problem, it’s me.”
August
Grammy 2021, need I elaborate? The August/Cardigan/Willow medley has become an archival performance from Taylor Swift. She has made it clear that even though Folklore is a folk album, there is potential for the songs to be danced to, throwing caution to the wind.
Even in her Disney+ special where she is singing the song, there is an element of playfulness and youthfulness that has to be present during The Eras Tour.

All Too Well (10-Minute Version)
Yes yes, it is cliche, but the song is literally an award-winning, chart-topping bop. It is compulsory for listeners to yell the lyrics at her while she sings one of the most heartbreaking songs ever.
Additionally, with the release of the short film, the song has become even more iconic. As we all remember, Swift used to cry while singing this song originally and now it gives her so much happiness to see fans scream the lyrics that she constantly performs the song. Therefore, this song has to be there in the setlist.
We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together
There is an old performance where Swift changed the genre for this song and sang it completely like a rock single and it is one of the most powerful performances. The vocal and performative talent she exhibited during this performance would make a great segue into the more gritty songs she has from the Reputation album. Additionally, with Red (Taylor’s Version) fresh in everyone’s memory, this song will be a great addition.
Don’t Blame Me
This song screams god complex and has one of the best drops imaginable. During the Reputation Stadium Tour, she had sung this song with a choir-like backing after the bridge and the goosebumps from that still needed to settle. It is one of the most dark-romantic and grittiest songs from Reputation, completely setting the revenge vibe.
Karma
While this isn’t as dark as the one mentioned before, it definitely has an element of synthpop that would work well with the last song. The general playfulness and the ability to create a brilliant drop make it a great song for performing. The lyrics and current relevance on the internet will also make it the perfect bop to dance to before moving to something a little slower.
Cruel Summer
There must be earplugs for the screaming this song will induce. While it was never a single and never got its own video, fans have made this THE song from the Lover album. It continues to be one of the most requested songs of hers to perform and fans have begged her to release a music video for this song. With an iconic bridge, brilliant lyrics and pop beats that crush every time, this song needs to be there on The Eras Tour.
New Romantics
This 1989 song was a bonus track but has also become so iconic because of its lyrics and deep-seated nature in pop that many fans want this song to be played during the tour. Additionally, while she performed this on her 1989 tour, it became an extremely popular addition. It has a lot of potentials to be danced to and rave to with some friends. It is energetic and modern truly showcasing the pop icon that she is.
Fearless
While most people would choose Love Story to be sung during the tour if for a moment we just think about the country roots in this song it would make sense for a big throwback. Additionally, this is a great build-up for the other slow dance songs that would really set the mood for all people even if they are without a partner.
Enchanted
While this song is pretty old and from a fairly unknown album, Speak Now, this song has become extremely popular in the internet sphere. It played during the Bejeweled video and would make an extremely good callback to that and would also confirm the re-recording of the Speak Now album. This song would be brilliant for people to slow dance to.
