Babli Bouncer is the latest Disney+ Hotstar venture starring Tamannaah Bhatia as a lady bouncer to be released this September. The upcoming Bollywood movie is helmed by Madhur Bhandarkar and produced by Vineet Jain and Star Studios.
The trailer for the movie was released today and it portrays the “brave…bold…bindass” Babli as the one woman who can lift weights heavier than most boys training to become bouncers in the future from her village.
The action comedy is already garnering a lot of positive wishes from the actor’s fan following as they await their beloved favourite’s comeback in the new movie. Some are even claiming that it should’ve received a theatrical release. Alas, what remains unchangeable shall not hold her back from turning this into yet another blockbuster of the year.

Saurabh Shukla opens the trailer with his monologue, introducing us to the Fatehpur Beri village, also known as the “Village of Bouncers”. Every young boy prevailing from this village builds his future by building his body. However, the story to be told is not about a boy aspiring to be a bouncer, but rather about a girl who fits the profile and also happens to be his own daughter – Babli.
Her personality is typically defined by the ‘aunties of the mohalla’ as lacking “feminine qualities”. She defies the quintessential image of a woman drawn by society, especially since she dreams big of becoming independent in a patriarchal society like ours.
Putting the wedding plans aside, she plans to move to Delhi and acquire a job to put her dreams into action. And so she does.
While she enjoys becoming a lady bouncer in Delhi, the city reveals its dark side. It compels her to take action and in turn unleash her latent individuality to accomplish her duties as per the demand of her new profession.
