With a line-up of 6 members – Jay, Song, Bobby, DK, Ju-ne and Chan – the K-pop boy group, iKON, is all set to comeback with its third full album Take Off soon. On April 15, the boy band released a new update regarding their upcoming comeback via their new Mnet Plus fan community page.
Fans of the group, iKONICs, are excited beyond comprehension as this comeback will mark their first collaborative music release under 143 Entertainment since their departure from their former music label, YG Entertainment in December 2020. Take Off is a highly anticipated music event since it’s also the first full album the group is releasing in a long time, after their previous studio album Return, which came out 5 years ago in 2018.
In today’s update, the group has released the first teaser image of the forthcoming K-pop comeback that is slated for next month, along with the news that the schedule poster for the same will be dropped on April 17 at 6 PM KST. iKON’s third full music album was preceded by their fourth mini album FLASHBACK that came out in May 2022.
Having begun their journey with 143 Entertainment on January 1, 2023, the third-generation K-pop group is likely to perform their new music for the first time during their upcoming Asian leg of the world tour in Seoul (South Korea), Taipei (Taiwan), and Tokyo (Japan). The 2023 iKON WORLD TOUR TAKE OFF IN SEOUL is scheduled to take place on May 5-6, 2023 at Jangchung Arena.
As far as the solo activities of the group members are concerned, BOBBY put out his first single album S.i.R, led by the title track Drowning (feat. SOLE) and pre-release track Cherry Blossom in March 2023.

Some fans will be celebrating their first comeback with the group, having recently gotten around their music. While others are taking note of how the album shares the same title as their world tour, centring around the idea how the group is about to take a new leap towards success, especially with iKONICs supporting them through it all.
