Succession Season 4 is the fourth instalment of the ongoing family drama series. Created by Jesse Armstrong, the series centres around the affluent Roy Family, who controls the world’s biggest media and entertainment company. Still, their lives turn upside down when the father steps down from the highest position.
Starring Brian Cox, Kieran Culkin, and Matthew Macfadyen in the lead roles, the upcoming season will pick up from where the previous one ended. The satirical black comedy-drama was released on June 3, 2018, and has a total of 29 episodes, each with a runtime of approximately 50-60 minutes.

The seventy-three-second-long trailer gives us an overview of how the story will evolve in the new season. The video opens with the privileged children of the Roy family conversing on the phone with their father’s employee about reaching a possible compromise. However, they defy any negotiations until they receive an apology from Logan Roy.
Meanwhile, Tom Wambsgans is seen having an intense meeting with Mr Roy, which will change the course of their lives. Tom tries hard to keep Roy on his side, knowing his powerful influence in society. Planning and plotting continue within the family as the heirs diss on how to take revenge on their beloved father.

Nevertheless, the older man has been in the game for a long time and does not easily back down. Chaos ensues on both sides as a simple quarrel among the family becomes a battle of wits and strength. Everyone’s ultimate goal is to win, yet nothing remains stagnant since greed and evil motives take over.

The show represents a disconnected reality to the general mass, and that is what makes the show interesting. It provides a generalised inside scoop about the lives of millionaires, which is extremely interesting to the audience. The intricate plot and the gradual progression keep the viewers hooked and asking for more.
The long-running show has received positive feedback from fans and critics. After winning multiple Emmy Awards, the show is expected to maintain its quality script and seamless storytelling. The series fans eagerly await the release and answer lingering questions left behind by the previous season.
