As the episode ends the premiere week for the show, we see a fun mix of action and comedy, that comes with an intriguing mystery that leaves us wanting more. To top it up, the episode ends with hints of a new member of this new club.

Study Group (스터디그룹) follows a student who wants to be good at studying but is only good at fighting. He later forms a study group at the worst school in town and begins his journey towards the dreaded college entrance exams. With some action and some thrill, this show is set to be an entertainer unlike any other. Directed by Lee Jang-hoon, the drama stars Hwang Min-hyun, Han Ji-eun, Cha Woo-min, Shin Soo-hyun, and other cast members.

Episode 1 ended with Ga-min fighting the bully in school and leaving everyone shocked with his sudden revelation of prowess. Study Group Episode 2 Review

The episode begins with Ga-min escaping an expulsion when Han-gyeong stands up for her student and puts for the idea of creating a study group to make the environment in the school better. While approval for a trial of the same is given, things are not looking as easy for Ga-min and Se-hyun as no one is ready to join the club. Meanwhile, people from Han-gyeong’s past appear in front of her and attack her, when Geon-yeob saves her.

However, he is not enough and falls in front of the group who are now attacking them both. Right then, Ga-min arrives and saves the day. The next day, a student is ready to join the study club and it is a girl, revealing that the school is a co-ed.

This episode carries on the excitement of the first episode without a doubt and brings forth an exciting experience for viewers. Ga-min’s swift moves and blockheadedness really grow on the viewers as he effortlessly keeps us on our toes with his swift moves. And not to forget the sudden surprises we are thrown about his character, it is without a doubt that he is bound to be one of the most entertaining characters this year.

Meanwhile, Hong Min-gi is also a scene stealer because he not only brings out the character from the Webtoon but also shines his own talent into it. Not only he, but Han Ji-eun and Lee Jong-hyun are also bringing out a performance that is making me excited to see what happens when the club is complete.

On the other hand, the plot has brought out one of the best premiere weeks for a show and has captured my attention in ways that leave me excited for what next week is set to bring. And then there is the smooth cinematography of the show that captures some of the iconic scenes of the Webtoon so beautifully that we cannot overlook it. The camera work is truly beautiful and only adds to my eagerness.

Overall, the show has had a wonderful premiere week and I am ready for what more the show is set to bring. With the hope that it continues to bring out the best in the Webtoon, this show is one that cannot be missed out on this season!
