Strong Girl Nam-soon Episode 5 Preview: The famous hit South Korean drama Strong Woman Do Bong-soon (힘쎈여자 도봉순) spin-off series Strong Girl Nam-soon (힘쎈여자 강남순) of the is directed by Kim Jung-Sik and written by Baek Mi-Kyeong. Starring Lee Yoo-mi, Kim Jung-eun, Kim Hae-sook, Ong Seong-wu and Byeon Woo-seok in the lead roles, the series will follow a young girl named Nam-soon and her immense strength being used for the good. The series is produced by JTBC and is distributed by Netflix.
The series takes up the story of Bong-soon’s sixth cousin, Kang Nam-soon (Lee Yoo-mi) who has similar strength to her cousin. After getting lost in Magnolia, Nam-soon returns to South Korea to find her family. She successfully finds her mother (Kim Jung-eun) and grandmother (Kim Hae-sook) but little does she know, the trio are in for a big treat.
Lee Yoo-mi made it big after her pivotal role in Squid Game (2021). She was last seen in All of Us Are Dead (2022). Kim Jung-eun’s last ventures are Missing: The Other Side (2020-2023) and DNA Mate (since 2022). Kim Hae-sook’s latest work was Revenant (2023). Speaking of Ong Seong-wu, he was last seen in the movie Starlight Falls (2023) while Byeon Woo-seok’s latest project was Soulmate (2023).

In the fifth episode, Nam-soon and Hee-sik’s plan won’t flop but they won’t find much evidence as well. A video of Nam-soon carrying the crates will pass over to Ryu Shi-o who is actually in search of her after seeing her strength at the airport. Hwa-ja will make use of the opportunity to bring down Nam-soon.
Nam-soon will come in contact with Ryu Shi-o and get into trouble. Ryu Shi-o definitely has a supernatural power which will be revealed in this episode. Hee-sik has already developed feelings for Nam-soon and in the fifth episode, it will only grow. Speaking of Nam-soon she does like Hee-sik but she might not have a clue about how romantic feelings feel like so she’ll just casually stick to him. Geum-ju will secretly dive behind the scenes of the corrupted world to get closer to the villain. Her input will majorly help Hee-sik.

Nam-soon finally reunites with her mother, Geum-ju. They share a loving moment and head to their home, where Nam-soon meets her grandmother Joong-gan. Geum-ju decides to help those who assisted Nam-soon in her journey, starting with her two vagrant friends, whom she provides with money and a place to stay. She also thanks Hee-sik for his help and plans to retrieve Nam-soon’s belongings from his place.
Bong-go and Nam-soon’s twin brother Nam-in arrive at Geum-ju’s house, and a heartwarming family reunion takes place. Hwa-ja, who had escaped earlier, remains in hiding as the police search for her due to fraud charges. Nam-soon updates her Mongolian parents about her new life.
In the days that follow, the family spends time together and takes a family photo. Geum-ju receives a tip about drugs hidden at the company owned by Ryu Shi-o. Meanwhile, Shi-o starts recruiting investors and announces a job opportunity for delivery staff especially for women.
At the police station, Hee-sik’s head officer shows symptoms of drug use, causing concern among his colleagues. Hwa-ja, using a fake ID, joins Doogo as a delivery girl. Geum-ju visits Hee-sik to collect Nam-soon’s belongings, and a misunderstanding with Hee-sik’s mother leads to a surprising revelation when she sees the large sum of money offered.
Geum-ju shares information about Doogo with Hee-sik, who is determined to uncover the mastermind behind the drug case. Nam-soon and Hee-sik decide to go undercover as delivery staff at Doogo. Nam-soon’s incredible strength surprises her coworkers. Meanwhile, Hwa-ja, also working at Doogo, hides from Nam-soon after seeing her. That night, Geum-ju embarks on a mysterious pursuit, while Nam-soon and Hee-sik break into the Doogo factory as part of their investigation.
