This episode provided a much-needed break from the tension of the previous arc. Holo and Lawrence are back on the road, heading toward their next destination, where they hope to uncover more about Holo’s birthplace. However, the journey is anything but straightforward. To gather the information they need, they must contact an Abbott who collects stories about pagan gods.

But before they can reach the Abbott, they first have to make their way to Tereo, an unfamiliar place to Lawrence. To navigate this path, they plan to seek guidance from someone in the town of Enberch, where they’re currently headed. It’s a complicated route, but it seems to be the only option. In the meantime, Lawrence is also securing some flour, hoping to earn a bit of money along the way.

Their journey so far feels peaceful, allowing viewers to appreciate the stunning visuals of the landscapes they traverse. Nothing seems particularly threatening at the moment, but there’s an unsettling atmosphere surrounding Tereo. The town, which feels more like a village, doesn’t appear welcoming, and the nun at the church comes across as suspicious. How Lawrence and Holo will gather the information they need and move forward remains to be seen.

What truly stands out in this episode is how much closer Holo and Lawrence have become since their last ordeal. After dealing with Amati, Lawrence seems more certain of his feelings, and Holo appears to be growing more understanding. Their bond feels stronger than ever, and I can only hope that this new town won’t threaten that connection.
