Siren’s Kiss Episode 12 Recap
The finale goes straight into revealing the true colours of Eun-hyuk, given that he is now pointing a gun at Woo-seok. As a fight emerges, Eun-hyuk knocks Woo-seok unconscious and ties him to a chair. When Woo-seok gains consciousness, he asks Eun-hyuk why he would commit all the crimes. Eun-hyuk tells the expected answer: Everything for Seol-ah.
Eun-hyuk explains that, according to him, none of Seol-ah’s men truly loved her, and he believed he had to handle them. He proceeds to tell about each guy: Seung-jae wasn’t loyal, Su-ho was obsessive and toxic, and her therapist boyfriend was taking advantage of her. Eun-hyuk believed and still believes that he is the only one protecting her.

Not knowing that Seol-ah has already arrived at the spot and is overhearing everything, Eun-hyuk keeps telling the truth. Seol-ah is shocked to learn that the man she considered family turns out to be the monster behind everything. When Eun-hyuk proceeds to pull the trigger, Seol-ah comes and pleads with him to stop. But Eun-hyuk, who is no longer himself, proceeds to shoot and as expected, Seol-ah throws herself and gets shot.
Seol-ah is rushed to the hospital, and thankfully, she gets saved. As she recovers, Woo-seok stays by her, and their love for each other grows more. Eun-hyuk doesn’t accept his crimes at the police station but decides to confess when he learns that Seol-ah is ready to get arrested for all the crimes. This pushes him to take the final blow and tell the truth, as he doesn’t want the love of his life to get arrested.

During police interrogation, he admits not only to killing Seol-ah’s boyfriends but also Chairwoman Sun-ae and Yun-ji. He explains that both women posed threats to Seol-ah. He also says that Yun-ji was aware of him killing Seung-jae, and so he had to end her. Even as he confesses, Eun-hyuk insists that Seol-ah is innocent and begs the police to let her go. However, the emotional damage is already irreversible.
Just when we think Eun-hyuk’s crimes are over, he tells the most devastating part. Years ago, when Seol-ah’s parents attempted suicide, it was Eun-hyuk who set the fire that killed them. When he came to her house, he found her unconscious and her parents collapsed. So he started the fire and saved only Seol-ah, knowing that her parents’ insurance money would come to her. It is Sun-ae who witnessed this and used Eun-hyuk as her pawn.

When Seol-ah learns the full truth, she is shattered. Her final words to Eun-hyuk are cold. She tells him never to call her name again. With nothing left to hold onto, Eun-hyuk takes his own life, bringing his tragic and disturbing story to an end.
In the aftermath, healing slowly begins. Seol-ah recovers, and Woo-seok asks if they can finally start a real relationship. This time, free from secrets and fear, she agrees. The two share a heartfelt kiss, marking a new beginning. Years later, they are shown building a peaceful life together, even organising camps to help children cope with trauma. Seol-ah leaves the Royal Auction behind, choosing a quieter, more meaningful path.

Siren’s Kiss Episode 12 Review
The final truth really left a heavy emotional ending as Eun-hyuk’s angelic face turned into a demonic one. Eun-hyuk isn’t just in love with Seol-ah but is paranoid to the point that he believes he has to end people’s lives if they cause harm to her. His twisted justification is evidence showing how bad his mental health is.

What really blew me is him being the reason behind Seol-ah’s parents’ death. A small boy literally set two adults on fire… that is horrific. Despite its dark tone, the finale offers a satisfying sense of closure. Eun-hyuk’s end feels logical as he no longer has anyone to rely on. Not even his sister, as she’ll be traumatised for life. Knowing Seol-ah has also given up, his death feels tragic but powerful.
With Woo-seok and Seol-ah joining and starting mental health camps shows that they’re trying their best to get it going.
