She-Hulk Attorney at Law Episode 5 is titled ‘Mean, Green and Straight Poured into These Jeans’ and has a runtime of about 28 minutes. The episode is directed by Anu Valia and written by Dana Schwartz. The synopsis of the episode reads, “She-Hulk discovers Titania owns the name “She-Hulk” and is suing her for trademark infringement.”
In the previous episode, Donny Blaze, a magician at Mystic Castle who was expelled from Kamar-Taj for unethical use of his powers, sends an audience member named Madisynn to another dimension, where she makes a deal with a demon before being transported to Wong’s home in Kamar-Taj.

Wong approaches Walters and asks for her help in making an example of Blaze so that people like him will not be able to misuse the Mystic Arts, so they launch a legal case against him and Mystic Castle’s owner Cornelius P. Willows. Meanwhile, Walters creates a profile on a dating app in the hopes of expanding her social life but has little success until she changes it into a profile for She-Hulk.

Blaze accidentally unleashes a swarm of demons at one of his shows, but Wong and Walters are able to stop them before she threatens Blaze and Willows into complying with her cease-and-desist order. The next day, Walters learns that Titania has been freed and is filing a lawsuit against her, having trademarked the name She-Hulk.
Episode 5 finally features Titania after her wall-breaking entrance in the initial episode. Although it doesn’t follow any other physical fights breaking out between her and Jennifer Walters, instead she decides to attack her sneakingly. The previous episode ended with Jen getting to know that she is being sued for the name She-Hulk.

Jen might not have liked the name at first and still doesn’t like to use it personally but it is stuck to her and someone else using it for commercial profits, doesn’t sit well with her. Funnily it reminds me of the recent Kim Kardashian controversy for using the name SKKN, which is already being used by another small brand.
Anyway, after some super cameos, this episode focuses more on the humans around She-Hulk and introduces Renée Elise Goldsberry as Mallory Book. She is also a lawyer at GLK&H who seem to be threatened/not in favour of Walters becoming the new head of the superhuman law division.
However, after representing She-Hulk in court against Titania for the trademark case, we can see some new friendship brewing between the two by the end of the episode. At first, there is some coldness from Mallory and criticising Jen’s choice of outfits along with her friend Nikki Ramos.

Coming to Nikki, we also get to see a new friendship between her and Augustus ‘Pug’ Pugliese, played by Josh Segarra. As they have a fun day shopping for some Avengers or I mean ‘Avongers’ merch, which leads them to a special clothes designer, who makes custom-made outfits for all the superheroes.
Final Thoughts: She-Hulk Attorney at Law Episode 5
The episode was low on any action that we got to see previously. It mostly revolves around Jen’s work-life, friends and being on the other side of a case by being a client and not representing in court as an attorney. Many fans have raised questions about the hair getting changed with the transformation and She-Hulk addresses it by saying, she likes this perk (but we aren’t impressed).
There was no mid-credit scene as well, but the last bit of the episode was surprising and exciting enough to tune into the next episodes. Overall, the whole episode was a bit lukewarm, and if the ending is any indication, then we expect to see some spectacular action and laughs in the coming episode.
She-Hulk Attorney at Law is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
