Shark Tank India Season 3 Episode 9 Review
The first people to bring in their business are two men from a small town called Gohana. They are the co-founders (Ishaan and Sandeep) of a brand of dough pizzas called Pizza Galleria. This 100% vegetarian pizza brand owners had their own style of pitching the deal. But what really connected with the sharks is their holiness, humbleness and their simple attitude towards business. Lacking in basic education, the presenters did face lot of challenges in putting their model forward but, ultimately they hit the right notes within the shark den. But whether they end up taking a deal home or not is what you will find out at the end of the episode.
The next business owner to grace the stage is Harshal from Yatamal for his company AI Cars which happens to be India’s first artificially intelligent hydrogen-based vehicle manufacturing startup. With cool features and sustainability in store, the founder is able to impress the sharks to a certain extent. However, the big picture of this car brand seemed shaky from the start making the sharks question how long it would be able to run.
The next brand on-stage is also one that represents the small and unique towns and the Indian culture. Preserving and promoting Indian art through Rooftop app, we have the founder putting his ask forward to the shark. But even in this pitch, there are some loopholes that make the sharks asks questions that lead to some tension and cold air.
Shark Tank India Season 3 Episode 9: Final Thoughts
Overall, Shark Tank India Season 3 Episode 9 had a humble and unique orientation to it. Given some of the entrepreneurs gracing the stage came from small towns, it showed how advanced India is getting with its business ideas and mindset. But there was also this element of how rudimentary the small towns in India are when it comes to advancement. There is much to learn and explore in the context of understanding Indian small towns from this particular episode.
It was surely a good episode to watch, learn and understand from. The businesses and the entrepreneurs painted the most Indian picture the show has seen so far.
