Shark Tank India Season 2 episode 14 premiered on Sony LIV and Sony Entertainment Television on January 19, 2023, at 10PM IST. Payel Seth is the show’s creative director, while it’s been produced by Studio NEXT, with Ravikesh Vatsa as its writer. The show is now hosted by renowned comedian Rahul Dua, and is joined by six sharks, namely, Anupam Mittal Founder-CEO of Shaadi.com – People Group; Aman Gupta, Co-Founder-CMO of boAt; Namita Thapar, Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals; Vineeta Singh, Co-Founder-CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics; Peyush Bansal, Founder-CEO of Lenskart.com and Amit Jain, Co-Founder-CEO of CarDekho Group and InsuranceDekho.com.
Even as we regularly meet someone, we tend to pick up on their conversational cues and style. The same has been happening with all six sharks of the business reality show as well. Fans have constantly been nitpicking their ways of addressing the respective pitches coming their way and finally making up their decision. While the word “expertise” has clearly been marked as Namita’s trademark on the show, even the other sharks have started teasing her about the same.
Audiences once again took their time out to indulge in light-hearted laugh-offs as a Twitter user studied the usual dialogue flow of Namita Thapar. They drew out a complete flowchart, breaking down each chain reaction leading to the other. Other than that, the latest episode brought about pitches from ‘Kyari’, ‘MOPP Foods’ and ‘Econiture’, and the first deal generated a series of strong responses from each of the five sharks present on set.
Aman Gupta and Peyush Bansal’s team has been coined the “best Shark Tank Duo”, while Amit Jain, who’s recently joined the scene has received varied reactions from the audiences. Most of these have been on the positive end of the scale as viewers have taken note of how he seriously takes interest in the business model for each team, while keeping his humble demeanour in check. This led a user on the app to call him “Low-key awesome” while staying the reason for the same as him having joined hands with ‘MOPP Foods’ despite his lacking expertise, rather in hopes of learning about the industry from the founders of the brand.
