This Shah Rukh Khan Movie is ‘Strongly Suggested’ By Author Paulo Coelho, Read On

Shah Rukh Khan is currently revelling in the record-breaking glory of his latest hit Pathaan, once again proving that he isn’t titled the ‘King of Bollywood’ for no reason. While he is one of the most famous actors, who is at the top of the list when someone mentions Indian actors and surely has a fanbase in various countries. One such famous fan is found in the acclaimed author Paulo Coelho.

Taking to social media on Thursday, Paulo Coelho – known for his books like The Alchemist, The Pilgrimage and many more, shared one of Shah Rukh Khan’s tweets from January 30th on Twitter. In SRK’s post he is seen thanking all his fans that gathered around his house to greet him and the actor is also grateful for showering so much love on his film.

Coelho retweeted it and heaped praises on the actor by calling him ‘King, legend, friend but above all, Great actor’. Along with it, he also decided to introduce SRK and his work to the western audience who might not be familiar with him. He strongly suggests the movie My Name is Khan to the people and even added one of the famous dialogues from the movie.

In the comments section, many fans and non-fans alike are commenting how the retweeted video is the best way to make someone understand, what a phenomenon SRK really is. His movie My Name is Khan was released in 2010 and follows the story of a man from Mumbai with Asperger’s Syndrome who moves to San Francisco and falls in love, only to have his new family torn apart.

His heartfelt determination to keep his family together moved everyone, won many accolades and became the second-highest-grossing Indian film of the year. In fact, the topics that were explored in the movie still stand relevant and many would empathise with the story.

Currently, his movie Pathaan which also stars Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and others is doing great at the box office. Returning after almost 4 years, the story follows an exiled RAW agent, who must work with ISI agent Rubina to take down Jim, a former RAW agent-turned-traitor, who is planning to spread a deadly lab-generated virus across the country.

Pathaan is available to watch in theatres worldwide, while you can stream My Name is Khan on Amazon Prime Video.
