Jimin of BTS is all set to take the world by storm with his debut album’s pre-release track Set Me Free Pt 2 coming out this week. On March 14, 2023, just days before the premiere of the music track, HYBE Labels’s official channel has dropped the teaser for the upcoming music video. The BTS member can be seen sporting the same dark look from his photo concept promos (Hardware version).
The video teaser opens with him dauntingly glaring straight into the camera while donning the same damp hair look, and leather-clad avatar as the photo concepts had previously hinted at. In stark contrast with the usual angel-like stance owned by the singer, Jimin looks quite intimating in this look.
Additionally, as suggested by the forthcoming album’s name FACE, the artist hopes to face and express his true self through the emotions articulated in the lyrics of the EP’s tracklist. Set Me Free Pt. 2 will take up the fifth spot in the same line-up, but is being released prior to the album’s debut slated for a date later this month.
Park Jimin debuted with BTS in 2013 not only as the lead vocalist, but also as the main dancer. He’s known to have trained in the contemporary dance form and ballet as well during his young years before joining the K-pop group that has now become a global sensation. Despite his elegant dancing demeanour, he’s often dealt out tough and fast-paced dance breaks during his career. Endless songs like Run BTS, Fire, MIC Drop, Dynamite, Idol, No More Dream, We Are Bulletproof Pt 2 and Dope are some such titles that portray his professional dance flair.
Today’s teaser has foreshadowed that a similar route will be taken by the new track video as a huge squad of dancers can be seen indulging in a hard-hitting choreography while Jimin walks past them to get into the zone and make way for the dance anthem of the month. And, we can’t wait to watch what wonders are in store for us once this week once the full-length video is actually made available for us all.

Jimin’s pre-release track video will premiering on YouTube on March 17, 2023, at 1 PM KST, whereas the singer’s first solo album FACE will be coming out a week later on March 24, 2023.
