See You in My 19th Life (이번 생도 잘 부탁해) is a South Korean romantic comedy-drama series that is based on the webtoon of the same name by Lee Hye. Directed by Lee Na Jung and screenplay by Choi Young Rim, the fantasy series follows the story of Ban Ji-eum, who has an extraordinary ability to remember all the memories of all her past lives.

Netflix’s synopsis of the show reads as: “Ban Ji-eum can endlessly reincarnate. But when her 18th life gets cut short, she dedicates the next one to finding her now grown-up childhood love.”

In the next episode, Seo-ha wonders why Ji-eum reminds him of Ju-won. Their relationship defies the rules of professionalism as they become more closer. On the other hand, Ji-eum realises that Cho-won is in love with Seo-ha, which complicates her feelings and thoughts. Moreover, Seo-ha cannot help himself from developing feelings for Ji-eum.

See You in My 19th Life Episode 2 Recap

Cho-won, who was Ji-eum’s sister from her 18th life, is introduced and is revealed that she has developed deep feelings for Seo-ha. The scene soon shifts to Seo-ha walking down a busy road when suddenly he gets a panic attack as the sound of cars triggered the traumatic accident. Luckily Ji-eum notices him and heads over to help him out.

After Ji-eum’s consistent persistence, Seo-ah finally hires him for the job, but he does not assign him any tasks. Ji-eum also finally interacts with her sister for a brief moment. Meanwhile, Seo-ha tries to recall where did he meet Ji-eum before and finally realised that she was the little girl whom he came across during his high school days.

The next day Ji-eum receives a call from Seo-ha for some help. He asks her to drive him to a faraway area. Later she realised that it was the grave site of her past self. He pays respect to her and gets emotional as he remembers the past times spent with Ju-won.
