Our protagonist and secret surfer, Steffi Navarro, is the daughter of a renowned surfer. As she goes through her father’s things, she discovers a mysterious photo of an island with a wooden house, a surfboard and a trophy on it.
Steffi is filled with music, adventure, and determination as she journeys across land and sea to unravel the mystery of her father’s trophy. Steffi finds out that the photo is of an island called Cielo Grande, but it is not what she was expecting when she arrived there.
Instead of the beautiful wooden house in the photo, she finds a dilapidated old hotel run down and in disrepair.
Along the way, she comes across many new friends who help guide her through the various challenges she faces on her quest. She learns that there is much more to life than just finding answers and realizes that it’s not always easy being who you are!
It is no surprise that the Netflix series Secrets of Summer will become an instant favourite. The story has been well-crafted, and the characters are easy to relate to. It’s a story about a young girl named Steffi Navarro searching for answers about her father’s past to take control of her future.
