S-Class MV Teaser 2 dropped on May 30, 2023 (KST), and led us all to believe in the already well-established fact that Stray Kids are in fact the “most special stars” of all. The newest video teaser also foregrounds the odd, experimental, (often referred to as “noise music” or “construction music”) sound that we’ve warmed up to and proclaimed as one of the most intriguing twists in the K-pop industry.
Preparing for their upcoming comeback, the JYP Entertainment boy group’s song is sought to frontline 5-STAR, their third Korean-language studio album releasing next month. With the album title already having self-ascertained that their forthcoming full album is going to be yet another top class project released by the members, it also aligns with their distinctive unique and quirky artistic identity.

Primarily written by the group’s hip-hop sub-unit 3RACHA (consisting of Bang Chan, Changbin and Han), the album is again expected to chart high (especially in STAYs’ hearts). As revealed so far, the titular track of the album, S-Class, will be an explosive fusion of all things that define the group’s discography.
The video teaser first captures the 8 members – Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and IN – at what seems to be an extraterrestrial location, where they all break out into an unusually extraordinary dance routine that somewhat mirrors the moves of their God’s Menu choreography as well as other hits at a quick glimpse.

Teasing the soon-to-release Stray Kids comeback, the album packaging of their new record also assumes the solar system aesthetic, with numerous versions of the physical albums to be made available for the fans – limited A, B, C, and 8 member specific digipacks. This album will also include the Korean version of their last released Japanese title track The Sound, in addition to the other tracks – Hall of Fame, Item, Super Bowl, Topline (feat Tiger JK), DLC, Get Lit, Collision, FNF and Mixtape: Time Out (from the group’s Mixtape Project).
Fellow bandmate Felix, producers Versachoi, Chae Kang-hae, Restart, Zack Djurich, Millionboy, Trippy, Nickko Young, Kyle Reynolds, Chris LaRocca, and Jun2 have also made contributions to the highly anticipated body of work. Stray Kids have been on beat in terms of carving a path for themselves while following their identifying musical streak and also opening up new pathways simultaneously, making them a much sought-after group in the industry. We can’t wait for their comeback!
