Bringing a whole new look to the famous Squid Game, Run Jin Episode 24 is not just fun to watch, but a completely hilarious experience that you shouldn’t miss out on. You cannot survive this episode without bursting into a fit of laughter as you see Jin and his team compete against athletes to win the big prize. Meanwhile, the guests on this episode really know how to entertain their audience as they take us by storm.
Run Jin started on August 13th, 2024, after BTS Jin was discharged from the military and took over the group’s popular show Run BTS. With the other members still in the military, Jin took over and showed him engaging in various activities, adventures, and more, often with guests like TXT’s Yeonjun, Lee Yi-kyung, Jonathan Yiombi, and more! With a new episode released every Tuesday, he has been entertaining fans around the world as we await the return of all our beloved BTS members this year!
Before getting into the episode itself, I have to say that this show is getting better with each passing week and BTS Jin is truly upholding the entertainment torch high with his wonderfully created show. This has been another fantastic episode that not only brings us to the edge of our seats but also keeps us laughing the whole time. Jin’s antics never get old and watching his guest getting confused in the beginning to later joining him in the same is amusing as ever.
This episode takes up the Kdrama Squid Game theme and even similarly invites the guests, also giving them numbers on their jerseys. Only, their jerseys are not green but white because, at the end of the day, this is not Squid Game but Squid-Jin Game. The episode then proceeds with Jin asking his guests- Shin Seung-ho, Son Dong-pyo and Nam Chang-hee who each surprise him with their answers.
Moving on, the rival players are brought in and they are all athletes from different fields who are ready to compete with Jin’s crew who need to save the 1 Million Won award that they would receive. The games soon begin and the first on the list is Musical Chairs. Jin cleverly pulls a chair for himself each time the music stops and his team doesn’t forget to learn this trick from him. Soon after, he emerges as the winner and the team manages to save their money in the first round.
The next game is Strategy Tug-O-War where the team that manages to collect the most ropes wins. While Jin makes a plan and Seung-ho gets clarity on the rules, the game soon begins, but this time Jin’s crew falls on the losing end. Despite using every trick in the book, the team is unable to save their rewards and lose the game.
However, they don’t lose hope and move on to the next game which is the popular Squid Game we have all come to know about. Once again, the game is hard for Jin’s team as their opponents are professionals who are not easy to move. But they too have Seung-ho on their side who manages to defend well despite everything else. Unfortunately, he alone is unable to win the match and the team once again loses the game.
The team is then given a penalty to wear a Squid mask and the members gather to decide who is going to wear it. After a little game of palm pushing, Dong-pyo is made to wear the mask and with this, the first part of this series comes to an end.
Altogether, this episode opened up a flood of laughter and I couldn’t stop until the end. However, my personal favourite has to be the Tug-O-War where Dong-pyo became the highlight thanks to Jin’s strategy. This was definitely my favourite, and even the others could not stop laughing at the kid in the middle of all the adults. But in the end, this series is far from over and I’m eagerly looking forward to what more is about to be brought in the next episode!
