With multiple guests and a motto to make everyone laugh, Run Jin episode 20 is here with another fulfilling addition to the show. Bringing another bond of laughter this week, Jin invites comedians together under this Variety Show Extravaganza, where a series of episodes follow these guests on the show.
Run Jin started on August 13th, 2024, after BTS Jin was discharged from the military and took over the group’s popular show Run BTS. With the other members still in the military, Jin took over and showed him engaging in various activities, adventures, and more, often with guests like TXT’s Yeonjun, Lee Yi-kyung, Jonathan Yiombi, and more! With a new episode released every Tuesday, he has been entertaining fans around the world as we await the return of all our beloved BTS members this year!
Coming back to the episode titled Run Jin Episode 20 Variety Show Extravaganza 1, Jin invites comedians Shin Bong-son, Lee Yong-jin, Heo Kyung-hwan and BTOB Seo Eunkwang. The episode not only brings viewers a flurry of laughter but also brings together a group of introverts who are shy yet capable. This group of talents not only take you on a hilarious journey throughout the episode but also shines individually alongside Jin.
The episode brings a typical Korean variety show vibe to the audience, where games are played together. After designating an X-Man who is given missions for each game, the show begins with the first game. The first one on the list if Tray Karaoke where the group has to sing the song played for them. Each member has to sing the lyrics in a designated order and every time someone messes up, the trays fall on all their heads. With 10 chances to win the game, the song is played after which the members are all shuffled.
This traditional variety show game has been seen in many other shows and even on Run BTS. Seeing this game adds to the charm of the show as the group comes together to win the game. Meanwhile, a hidden X-Man needs to disrupt the game and ensure that the group loses the game. While the members all work hard to learn the lyrics and try to find out who the X-Man is, we see a clash in five different personalities that makes laughter hard to resist.
With Jin trying to learn his lyrics, Yong-jin trying to teach him the lyrics, Bong-son waiting for her turn to come already, Eunkwang messing up the tone of the song and Kyung-hwan trying his best to find who is trying to mess up, the game continues for a few rounds. Finally, on the eighth try, the group gets the whole song right and the game comes to an end.
While the X-Man is not found yet, the group manages to defeat the hidden traitor and win this game. There are more rounds waiting for the group to clear before the final winner is decided. Meanwhile, the audience is left laughing out loud at the antics of this group of varying personalities who are truly bringing their best to the show. As they hold up Jin’s motto to make the audience laugh, we are left excited for the next episode of the show which is ready to continue the Variety Show Extravaganza that is happening on the show.
Altogether, this series is truly captivating us and we are ready for the upcoming episodes where we will see the same guests playing some more games with each other!
