Rotten Legacy Ending Explained: Federico is caught in a mess as he has no way of getting the funds needed to save his company or his song. Meanwhile, Yolanda’s paranoia lands her in trouble as Luis now holds it against her to extort her. To add to the trouble, Yara gets her hands on her father’s interview video and makes a decision.

The plot of Rotten Legacy follows a media mogul who is back in town after suffering from a grave illness that kept him away from his company for two years. However, upon his return, he is shocked to find out what his children have done to the empire he so carefully built and is now ready to do whatever it takes to save it. But while on his way to save it, he also wishes to teach his children a lesson and show them who has the actual power.

In the final episode of the show, Federico is having a hard time saving his company as he seeks help from anywhere possible. Meanwhile, Lara is stunned after what happened in college. Meanwhile Yolanda is freaking out after what she has done and is paranoid about being caught for murder. This leads her to mistakenly reveal the truth in front of Luis, and he uses it to extort money out of her.

Meanwhile, Lara is shocked when she sees Leon at an ex-soldier’s house, brutally beaten up and rushed to the hospital. Federico goes to Guadalupe for help by getting her ex-husband on their side and helping him out with the funds. She does as told and tries to break a deal with him by offering custody of their children to him, but this only makes matters worse. He is not ready to back down and let her father do as he wishes.

What Happens to Federico?

At the end of the day, Federico complies with Andrés and Guadalupe’s plan to save themselves and decides to hand over the company. By the day of the signing, he finally gives up on trying to save everything and signs over the documents in front of him, that ends a legacy he created with his own hands.

What Does Yolanda do to Luis?

Left with no choice in front of her, Yolanda makes use of an acquaintance to scare Luis so that he doesn’t try to blackmail her again. Later, she finally ends things with her husband once and for all.

What is the truth about Bruno revealed in the interview video?

It is revealed that Bruno, while on duty in Afghanistan, found out about the drug trafficking taking place among the soldiers there. Upon discovering this secret, he was tied down by his own countrymen and killed in cold blood, while the story of his death was twisted and presented. Federico carries the shame of his death all these years, for having sold out his integrity for money and hiding the truth behind the murder of his journalist.

How Does Lara Deal with the Video?

Towards the end of the show, we see Lara siding with Leon and finally turning on her father. After finding out that her father had actually lied to her about Leon and also paid others to lie to her, she has finally had enough. Later, when she sees the interview video, she decides to end it once and for all. Thus, at the end of the series, we see her uploading the interview video for the world to see the truth behind Bruno’s death.

Will there be a Rotten Legacy Season 2?

There definitely has to be a second season to this show because we cannot take this ending! What do you mean that we don’t get to see the aftermath of the signing and Lara uploading the video?! This show is certainly continuing on to another season, just that there is no information about it yet. Let’s hope some news about another season is released soon so that we can prepare ourselves for the continuation of this feud.
