Rohit Shetty, who is currently promoting his upcoming directorial venture film Cirkus, has a befitting response to the people who think that Bollywood is on the ending verge. At a recent event, the Golmaal director didn’t hold back from responding to the trolls who often even trend #cancelled or boycott films released nowadays.
In a clip that is going viral on social media platforms, Rohit Shetty is seen passionately listing all the biggest hits that Bollywood has delivered over the years such as Sholay, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Maine Pyaar Kiya, Munnabhai MBBS, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Hera Pheri etc.
He even added his own films like Singham, Golmaal and Sooryavanshi, which was released late last year and collected ₹196 crores at the box office. He further commented that it is the same Bollywood that made all these movies and just because they had one bad year doesn’t mean people should start turning their backs on or bashing them for it.
