Revenant Episode 6 Prediction

Everything is connected, starting from Hae-sang’s mother. In the previous episode, we see Hae-sang finding the object his mother buried before being killed by the evil spirit. What startles him is finding that object at Gyeong-mun’s mother’s place, where the old lady died mysteriously. Why is the evil spirit connecting all of them? All answers regarding this question will start to unravel.

Hong-sae, who is a skeptic, might start believing that something is wrong with San-young. He might find out about the evil spirit and initially deny believing it. But of course, sooner or later, he will buy the story and protect San-young. Now that Semi is furious at San-young, if she seeks revenge, the evil spirit will kill Semi as well.

Hae-sang will learn more about the object and try to find its remaining pieces. The object looks like a piece of an urn, so if he finds the origin of the shard, more answers will be provided.

Revenant Episode 5 Recap

Hae-sang learns about a Jangseung ritual that was carried out by the village lady in order to summon her dead daughter. He finds the Jangseung and axes it down, making the spirits go away. Before that, San-young has a short conversation with her dead father. Hae-sang and San-young learn that Gang-mu was possessed and all his actions were manipulated by the spirit. Gyeong-mun reveals the reason behind leaving Gang-mu, indicating a Jangjin-ri tradition.

San-young tells Hae-sang that Mokdan didn’t go missing, but her entire family sacrificed her as a part of a Jangjin-ri ritual. Apparently, the latched evil spirit is Mokdan in vain. When San-young leaves Hae-sang’s apartment, she receives a text from Semi about her successful civil exam and the senior’s wedding celebration. To make the stressed-out San-young happy, the evil spirit takes over her, kills a rich influencer, and uses her credentials to dress up San-young.

San-young shocks everyone at the wedding celebration with her new attire and style. She also acts extremely disturbing toward Semi. San-young comes back to her senses and rushes out of the place to the bridge, where she pleads with the evil spirit to stop. Meanwhile, Hae-sang visits Gyeong-mun’s mother’s place and digs a spot where there was a tied rope.

He finds the same object his late mother buried before dying. A perplexed Hae-sang wonders how it came to this spot while the possessed San-young on the bridge says, “You found it.”
