Rafuchakkar Episode 6 Review: The new crime drama produced by Jio Studios is directed by Ritam Srivastav and written by Arjun Singgh Baran and Kartik Nishandar. The series stars Maniesh Paul as Pawan aka Prince, Priya Bapat as Ritu Arora, Aakash Dahiya as Jaidev, Aksha Pardasany as Shaurya Chautala, Chahat Vig as Preeti Gogia, and other notable actors like Sushant Singh, Pushkar Priyadarshi, Rishi Deshpande, etc. Each episode’s runtime is 40 minutes, and every day, an episode will air on Jio Cinema.

Rafuchakkar Plot
Disguising himself as a rich airline guy, athletic gym rat, and such, a con man who mainly targeted women to cheat and defraud money gets arrested. But due to the lack of evidence, the truth stands sealed. Will the courtroom drama prove that Pawan is the scammer and elaborate on why he committed those crimes? Or will the mastermind escape the play?

Pawan Bawaria for a second imagines the scenario of telling Jaidev the truth but steps back from that thought once he realises that the tables will turn. Jaidev is still unaware of his friend’s crimes and this instance clears the doubts about Jaidev being Pawan’s ally. Jaidev starts his search for Preeti while Pawan stages a kidnap. The police are distracted from collecting evidence to searching for Pawan.
On the other hand, another character of Pawan is introduced through the backstory of an investor, Arjun Chautala. When Arjun tries to pitch his idea to the renowned Bharath Chaudary, the rich businessman, he doesn’t lend his ears. Using this as an opportunity, Pawan fakes a character called Sathish Chaudary and claims to be Bharath’s stepbrother.
Pawan as Sathish invites Arjun Chautala and makes a huge deal in transforming a 2000-acre public property into residential land. Just when everything goes according to plan, Pawan gets arrested. Note that, nobody still knows that there is an avatar like Sathish Chaudary because Ritu and others are only aware of Ajay Chauhan and Kirtan Gada characters.
Now that Pawan is on bail, he again disguises himself as Sathish Chaudary and visits Arjun Chautala to wind up with the deal. Arjun Chautala invites Sathish to his house and to his surprise, he meets Shaurya Chautala. Apparently, the cop who is dealing with Pawan Bawaria case is Arjun Chautala’s daughter.
Unaware of this fact, Pawan encounters the cop in the avatar of Sathish Chaudary. However, Shaurya figures that the man behind the mask is Pawan. Just when Shaurya calls the cop team, Pawan escapes. Shaurya notes the car number of the SUV and asks her team to track him.
Coming to Ritu Arora, her teammate figures out the connection between Pawan, Arjun Chautala, and Shaurya Chautala. This makes Ritu panic as she believes Pawan is up to something big. When she leaves her office, Pawan meets her and hands her a pen drive with confidential data. He tries to get her on his side through the data that’s given.
Jaidev who is on the search for Preeti learns that she and her family have moved to Canada. Just then, Jaidev receives a phone call from Pawan Bavaria and he requests his friend for help. Jaidev demands the truth and Pawan agrees to open it all up. In the next few scenes, we see Jaidev meeting with underground money launderers and we’re yet to know the purpose behind the meetings and whether Pawan confessed the truth.

At this point, there is so much happening and all I need are answers. It’s clear that Jaidev isn’t Pawan’s ally but there is someone else he is dealing with. Something is fishy about Mr. Pathania which Pawan wants to leak. Probably this is why he chose Pathania as his first victim and then moved ahead with others.
How come such a mastermind fail to notice Arjun Chautala has a cop daughter? That’s cranky or was he aware of it and purposely planned everything to get her to deal with the case? Everything seems connected and the knots have to be untied to know the last picture. Additionally, we’re yet to find out what is on the pen drive and whether Ritu Arora will support Pawan or stick by Pathania since she is forced to work for him.
Now that another character of Pawan is out, are there any more avatars or just these? Because so far, we’re still unsure of what Ajay Chauhan, Kirtan Gada and Sathish Chaudhry’s purposes were. Adding more characters will kill time, to be honest. Now speaking of the money aspect, it is known that Pawan has converted them into cryptocurrency and so it cannot be tracked.
Seemingly, there are chances of Pathania being the terrible villain and Pawan being the hero who swindles the money for good. It can also be the other way around where Pawan grabbed the bucks and decided to multiply them for his personal sake. Either way, there has to be a clear explanation and if the director brings a sympathetic or a drab ending, then the series’ reputation will crumble.
Final Thoughts
As said, at this point, since so much is happening, all I can do as a viewer is watch the series progress and wait for the climax. There’s nothing we can assume and guess because in each episode a new piece of information pops up and confuses the viewers. Hopefully, the finale will make a cut to the chase.
