R U Next Episode 10 (알유넥스트) is just a few days away, and netizens are rooting for their respective favourites to take the lead as the final episode will help skyrocket the dreams of only 6 trainees who will finally debut as part of the new girl group under BELIFT LAB, joining ENHYPEN as their label mates.
Episode 9 premiered on August 25, 2023, Friday, and now only one step remains to be conquered before this journey is concluded for good. The BELIFT girl group audition survival competition is a joint venture between entertainment companies JTBC and HYBE Corporation, and is hosted by Choi Soo-young aka SNSD’s Sooyoung. Previously, ENHYPEN’s Heeseung and Jungwon, SEVENTEEN’s Woozi and others had also joined in as special guests on the show, mentoring the girls for their bright future.
Now, with the ultimate goal of debuting as members of the new HYBE Labels’ K-pop girl group alongside fellow label mates (different sub-labels) – LE SSERAFIM and NewJeans – the 10 remaining trainees are eager to be chosen as the finalists of the music survival show. But as expected, not everyone’s dreams will take flight on the next episode.
R U Next Final Lineup
Episode 9 bid farewell to two fan-favourite contestants – Jihyun and Chanelle – who unfortunately weren’t promoted to the ‘Next Zone’. Following these eliminations, the final 10 contestants moving ahead were announced, and they are – Moka, Minju, Youngseo, Wonhee, Yunah, Iroha, Jeongeun, Jeemin, Jiwoo and Himena.
R U Next Finale Preview: When and Where to Watch!
The next episode of the R U Next HYBE girl group debut project competition series, i.e. the R U Next Finale will air on JTBC on September 1, 2023, at 8:50PM KST. It will also be live streamed on YouTube. The voting period for the same is still ongoing. It started on August 25, 2023, at 10:30 PM KST and will end on September 1 at 12 PM KST. You’re allowed to vote for up to 6 trainees once per day on the Weverse and Toss apps. (Votes from each platform will be calculated separately).
