The new episode of the popular Korean music show is now out on Mnet’s channel, the Queendom Puzzle Episode 7 (퀸덤 퍼즐) reactions are again rolling out on Twitter. The reality survival show is a television spin-off of the original Queendom. Although the original series focussed on a comeback battle between K-pop girl groups, this show features former and current girl group members to make their collaborative comebacks. It is a performance-based show with eliminations and selections happening every week.
The brand new Mnet series is hosted by Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and features members from Lovelyz, AOA, WJSN, Weki Meki, H1-KEY, and others. This time, we see different artists perform solo on various songs. Initially, all of the contestants were pre-assigned a rank based on their previous career performance in the industry. After their first solo performance, every performer assigns an up or down vote on their peers, determining their rank for the upcoming episodes.

Episode 7 was live-streamed on Mnet’s YouTube channel with English subtitles for audiences around the world on July 25, 2023, at 10PM KST. It featured a special stage performance titled Rise Up that saw all the girls stepping into the spotlight together. This episode even welcomed a special appearance by the i DGA composer, Bobby.
The Queendom Puzzle final group name was also revealed to be “EL7Z U+P”. Netizens noticed that it basically read “PUZZLE” backwards, but other than its name, they didn’t seem to have any qualms with the format. Many even applauded the Top 7 contestants during the live streaming broadcast. While nothing is set in stone yet, whoever the finalists are in the end will debut as part of this new super girl group with a brand new song and follow-up promotions that will entail a Global Tour and a special stage performance slot reserved for the members at the year end MAMA ceremony.
Closing in on the finale, the latest entry of the season revealed the interim result and the names of the Queendom Puzzle Top 7 artists, who got a sure shot ticket to the Semi Finale. The 7 names leading the currently were revealed in the following order – H1KEY Hwiseo, WJSN Yeoreum, wooah Nana, Weeekly Jihan, PURPLE KISS Yuki, CLC Yeeun and Lovelyz Kei. The next announcement conveyed that the Bottom 5 names would be eliminated from the race, while the remaining 14 would be promoted to the Semi Final round like the Top 7.

The eliminations were announced in the following order – tripleS Seoyeon from the I Do team, Cherry Bullet Chaerin and (former) Momoland JooE from the PUZZLIN team, LIGHTSUM Sangah and Weeekly Soeun from the i DGA team. These particular eliminations invited severe reactions from the audience on Twitter, much like how the Top 7 announcements welcomed applause. Many viewers were heartbroken upon seeing how quite a few group members had been separated from each other post these eliminations.
