Queendom Puzzle Episode 5 Reactions: “Rush Hour Queen Yeeun” and Bora’s Vocals Take Over the Crowd

As the new episode of the popular Korean music show is now out on Mnet’s channel, the Queendom Puzzle Episode 5 reactions are again acting up on Twitter. The reality survival show is a television spin-off of the original Queendom. Although the original series focussed on a comeback battle between K-pop girl groups, this show features former and current girl group members to make their collaborative comebacks. It is a performance-based show with eliminations and selections happening every week.

The brand new Mnet series is hosted by Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and features members from Lovelyz, AOA, WJSN, Weki Meki, H1-KEY, and others. This time, we see different artists perform solo on various songs. Initially, all of the contestants were pre-assigned a rank based on their previous career performance in the industry. After their first solo performance, every performer assigns an up or down vote on their peers, determining their rank for the upcoming episodes.

Episode 5 featured performances by PUZZLE team’s Bora and KEI, who came out with a blooming stage energy with Lim Young-woong’s If We Ever Meet Again that left everyone struggling with their emotions. On the other hand, the QUEENDOM team delivered a goosebumps-worthy performance with Hopeless Romantic by BIG Naughty feat. Lee Suhyun. Although the former team snagged the victory for the All Rounder Battle Vocal and Rap Round 2, the competition wasn’t quite yet over.

Round 3 brought on a School Uniform Vs School Uniform battle between each team of 5 members. Therein, PUZZLE team was to perform ITZY’s Wannabe and QUEENDOM to come out with Day6’s Time Of Our Life for Round 3. However, for the first round Weeekly Zoa, Wooah Nana, Rocket Punch Suyun, CLC Yeeun, WJSN Yeoreum and Purple Kiss Yuki performed Rush Hour by Crush and BTS’ J-Hope, while Weeekly Soojin, Momoland JooE, TripleS Seoyeon and Rocket Punch Yeonhee mesmerised everyone with their soft presentation of Taeyeon’s Weekend. This particular round had the live crowd and netizens alike rooting for Yeeun, and “Rush Hour Queen Yeeun” quickly took over the trends on Twitter as well.

Day6’s YoungK even made a vocal cameo and mentored the QUEENDOM team for Round 3.
