Queen of Divorce Episode 9 Recap

Sa-ra rejects Yul-seong’s offer, but cannot stop thinking about it as it will bring her closer to her son. Yul-seong begins sending roses to entice Sa-ra to get back together with him. Later, Ki-joon finds out about Sa-ra’s mother’s death anniversary and helps her prepare the memorial service.

Yul-seong arrives for the same but is sent away by Sa-ra. Later, Ki-joon sees Sa-ra’s mother’s picture and recognises her as the informant who never got to meet him. Sa-ra is shocked by this news and realises that her mother’s death may not be a suicide. She begins looking for clues related to the truth and is told about the part-timer who worked for her mother- Bae So-hee.

A search for So-hee begins from both Yul-seong and Sa-ra’s sides and it is the latter who gets hold of her first. However, So-hee is not ready to reveal anything and runs away soon after. Sa-ra then pleads for her help and So-hee reveals the truth about Yu-mi’s case as well as Sa-ra’s mother’s death.

Sa-ra asks her to make a statement at the police station but So-hee doesn’t reply until later that day. She agrees to make the statement but is caught by her stalker right before she can leave. Sa-ra and Ki-joon try to get hold of her but are soon shocked when they face her dead body after the stalker kills her.

Later, Sa-ra has a panic attack and Ki-joon rushes into her house to help her. He then tells her about how he is ready to wait for her but doesn’t want to leave her alone when she needs someone by her side. Sa-ra breaks down in front of him and the two end up kissing. The next day, Ki-joon tries to find the driver from whose taxi Yu-mi fell out.

He finds out that he now works for Chayul Law Firm and also finds a pair of expensive shoes in his house which he enters. Later, he returns to another box of flowers being delivered at Solution but this time Sa-ra doesn’t throw them away. Ki-joon finds this suspicious and confronts Sa-ra only to be told that she will be going back to Yul-seong and implementing the solution she has prepared for herself.
