Planning to Watch That ’90s Show? Here’s Everything You Need to Know About Netflix’s Period Sitcom

That ’90s Show is an upcoming period sitcom which is a spin-off continuation of That ’70s Show which aired from 1998 to 2006 for a span of eight seasons. The show revolves around the next generation of kids from Forman’s house, who are ready to create a new ruckus in the life of grandparents Red and Kitty Forman.

The complete cast of the sitcom will include Callie Haverda, Ashley Aufderheide, Mace Coronel, Maxwell Acee Donovan, Reyn Doi, Sam Morelos, Debra Jo Rupp, and Kurtwood Smith. Moreover, the recurring characters who will make their guest appearance in the show are Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Laura Prepon and Wilmer Valderrama.

That ’90s Show Plot/Storyline

The official synopsis for the sitcom reads “Kitty and Red Forman welcome a new generation of teenagers into their basement when their granddaughter Leia decides to spend her summer in Wisconsin”.

That ’90s Show will revolve around the second generation of menace in the Foreman family, who will be the bearer of chaos this time around. Previously, it was the gang of misfits- Eric, Jackie, Michael, Donna and Fez, responsible for creating several troubled-filled scenarios in the life of Red and Kitty Forman.

However, after nearly two decades, the baton has been passed from the kids to the grandkids. The storyline of the show will focus on Leia Forman, the daughter of the now-married couple Eric and Donna, who visits her grandparents in the infamous spot of point place, situated in Wisconsin.

The show finds her making friends and forming a new group in the place, with all the similar elements of the predecessor gang. Moreover, the new set of millennials will bring a fresh number of headaches for elderly grandparents, who have no choice but to conform to their extravagant lifestyle.

Furthermore, as expected, the show will feature several elements in sync with the leap. Which will be directed towards the perks of being a teenager in the nineties, as well the bitter cons. Even though the show is returning after nearly two decades, there is no doubt about the level of menace that will follow with its spin-off continuation.

Notably, the show is created by Bonnie Turner, Terry Turner, Gregg Mettler, and Lindsay Turner. And is produced under the banner of The Carsey-Werner Company. Moreover, popular American rock musician James Iha will be providing the music for the show, along with Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp serving as the executive producers.
