Surprisingly, Yun Sung-bin, the iron man of the show, fails in the quest, leaving Jeong Hae-min move ahead to the finale. Choo Sung-hoon, Ma Sun-ho and Yun Sung-bin later express their time in the game show and break their torso sculptures.

After the last supper, the five finalists proceed to the quest arena. Meanwhile, some eliminated contestants sit at a lounge and watch the contest live. In the last quest, there are four missions that will eliminate the contestants until one participant stands as the winner. The first quest is a tug of war mission where all five contestants are tied to each other in chains. Simulataneously, all five have to reach for the key and unlock themselves. In this mission, the last two contestants unlock their padlocks together but differ in one second. Sadly the contestant who opened his lock lastly, gets eliminated.
Moving on to the second mission, the four contestants have to team up and flip the boards on the floor according to their assigned colour. The losing team will have a rematch where two contestants will follow the same mission and fight each other. In this mission, one of the strongest players gets eliminated, and the contestants watching the match feel that the round is too cruel.

Moving on with the three remaining contestants, the announcer announces the shuttle run mission. Again after 80 reps, one contestant backs off, which decides the final two contestants. The last participants are given a rope pulling quest which requires immense strength and willpower. After infinite pulling, one contestant manages to wind up the game and becomes the winner.
Both the finalists share their final words, bid each other farewell. The eliminated contestants couldn’t believe their eyes after witnessing a very unexpected contestant to become Physical 100 winner. The show ends, showing the winner’s torso sculpture standing alone among all the 99 broken sculptures.
Physical 100 Episode 9 Final Thoughts

The episode thrilled me to an extent where I had to pause the episode to catch my breath. The winner is completely unexpected, and indeed, no assumptions can be easily made. I thought Yun Sung-bin would carry the title, but as said, South Korean shows are setting the standards to a point where new shows must be extensively creative.
Physical 100 is one of the best survival shows, with really good game plans and amazing contestants. We need a season 2, and hopefully we will get one.
