If you’re an OG Bollywood fan, you can’t miss out on the brimming explosive pop-culture references prevalent in Phone Bhoot this weekend. Katrina Kaif being the most beautiful ghost in the world takes this ride with Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi’s ghostbusting bromance and the audience is enjoying every minute of it.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a movie release without the surplus of mixed reviews from both critics and the public. However, with this fun fest making for an entertaining reserve of your weekend, fans who’ve already watched the film are mostly in favor of the mindless hilarious jokes that take you on a Bollywood rollercoaster.
In the reactions listed on Twitter after the first few hours of the movie’s release, fans can’t seem to have enough of a particular mention – Kaif’s old, infamous Slice advertisement. The audience is quite literally showering the leading trio with as much love and applause as possible, reminding us of the charm held by simple feel-good Hindi movies that seemed to have lost their footing in the past few years.
The horror comedy is not as spooky as it is goofy and for all the good bits, the fans are applauding the performances delivered by each of the three actors. The words most used to describe the film till now are that it’s a major “family entertainer” and a “laughter riot’. Whereas, few others who haven’t watched the movie yet but are fans of the respective actors therein are expressing their pride and emotional outbursts for it receiving mostly good reviews.

Looks like it’s a much watch for the fans of the trio despite the few exact opposite remarks claiming it to have missed the comic perfection. Marking Kaif’s return to not only the comedy front but also to Bollywood itself after a long while, viewers are rejoicing with this laid-back project. Ragini, the poltergeist, and Khatter-Chaturvedi’s duo form a synergetic combination and the camaraderie shared between the three has managed to win over the fans without a doubt.
