Pandora Beneath the Paradise (판도라: 조작된 낙원) is a Korean thriller action drama that brings the story of a woman who has to reach the top to protect her family. Directed by Choi Young-hoon, the drama stars Lee Ji-ah, Lee Sang-yoon, Jang Hee-jin, Park Ki-woong, Bong Tae-kyu, and Shim So-young, alongside other cast members.
The show will have 16 episodes and takes over tvN’s Saturday-Sunday 9:10 PM KST timeslot previously held by Crash Course in Romance. Pandora Beneath the Paradise episode 13 has a run time of 59 minutes.

Pandora Beneath the Paradise episode 13 begins with Tae-ra being taken to have the chip inserted in her while Kyo-jin and Hae-soo look for her, worried that she may have fallen into trouble. On the other hand, Jae-hyun gives the order to have Tae-ra’s memories erased, however, it looks like Yang Se-jin has other plans.
Meanwhile, Hae-soo rushes to Tae-ra’s house but doesn’t find her after which she almost walks to Jae-hyun to question but is stopped by Do-jin who pleads to her to let him help her. The next day, Jae-hyun convinces Do-jin and Sung-chul to support his campaign and publicise it in front of the media waiting outside Hatch.

Sung-chul is convinced when Jae-hyun promises to make him the CEO of Hatch and does so after the campaign, making the former jump with joy. As the trio continue publishing their friendship and support for each other, Do-jin asks about Tae-ra’s whereabouts but is brushed off by Jae-hyun who promises her return.
Later, Hae-soo sees Tae-ra being taken inside her house on a stretcher but is not allowed to meet her. Meanwhile, Tae-ra finally wakes up and questions what happened when the doctor tells her that she fell off a ladder at her sister’s boutique which is an incident that occurred at the beginning of the first episode.
Tae-ra asks about Jiu and everything that happened but is made to calm down by Jae-hyun who is happy with the result. Soon, Jiu too returns while Pil-seung is taken away by Yoo-tae, whereas, Tae-ra finds out about Yoo-ra’s death from Jiu which puts her into despair. He then explains to her about what has happened in the past few months and how it was Yoo-ra’s suicide that traumatised her to the extent of forgetting her memories.
He then gets a call from Yoo-tae who tells him about Pil-seung and Jae-hyun decides to keep him hidden in his lab. The next day, a debate among the election candidates is held and Jae-hyun is able to strike back against the others and make himself the stronger candidate once again.
With 5 days to go before the voting day, a party is held by Jae-hyun as he introduces Tae-ra to everyone while having a light and fun time. Tae-ra then spots Hae-soo and goes to meet her but is startled by her behaviour while Hae-soo is shocked to see that Tae-ra has forgotten everything.
Later, Kyo-jin too arrives at the party and tries to talk to Tae-ra but is faced with the same shock as Hae-soo and is warned by Jae-hyun to keep away. Tae-ra then goes ahead to leave the party scene but is followed by Do-jin who finds out that a chip has been inserted into Tae-ra which made her this way.
This is known by the other two who are now worried for Tae-ra. The next day, Kyo-jin goes on his research to find Se-jin and someone to remove the chip inside Tae-ra while Hae-soo makes the connection between Se-jin and Su-jeong. Elsewhere, Geun-mo has got his hands on Tae-ra’s truth and found a way to stand up against Jae-hyun.
Soon, at the shareholders’ meeting at Kum-jo, Yeong-hwee tries to pressurise Do-jin but is surprised when Geun-mo arrives at the meeting and announces his comeback. Meanwhile, Hae-soo takes over the task of covering Jae-hyun’s news while he leaves his radio interview with Tae-ra.

Hae-soo then tries to get a chance to talk to Tae-ra alone and tries to bring back her memories but fails and is stopped by Jae-hyun again. Meanwhile, Yeong-hwee questions Kyo-jin about what he has been doing and is surprised when the latter reveals her true face and how her greed for the company has created a wedge between him and Do-jin, especially when he is not even interested in the company.
Pandora Beneath the Paradise Episode 13 Ending
Pandora Beneath the Paradise episode 13 ends with Kyo-jin then walking out from there, unaware that Yeong-hwee has formed a hatred towards Tae-ra for leading her son in another direction. Elsewhere, Tae-ra spends time with Jae-hyun who gets a message of someone’s escape and after he leaves that it is revealed that Tae-ra has been faking her memory loss this whole time.
She reminded Se-jin of her real identity as Su-jeong and ensured that she doesn’t lose her memories, while the latter was caught by Jae-hyun. Later, she tried to secretly find out information about her brother and Su-jeong and has been trying to find his secret base.
Jae-hyun is then seen rushing as he is angered by Su-jeong’s escape while Tae-ra tries to follow him, but fails when the former realises that he is being followed by someone. Elsewhere, Hae-soo has a plan to finally end everything that has been going on.
The next day, Jae-hyun speaks to Geun-mo about his actions and finds out about the card that has reached his hand while Do-jin finds out about Hae-soo’s plan. Later that evening, Hae-soo has her gun pointed at Jae-hyun who is frustrated about Su-jeon, but when she pulls the trigger it is Tae-ra who is hit after trying to protect Jae-hyun.
This shocks them both while Tae-ra lies there unconscious.
Pandora Beneath the Paradise Episode 13 Review
Episode 13 has once again brought the “I’m better at conspiracies than you” plot as Tae-ra and Jae-hyun continue to take over the game of chess that is going on between them. You never know who is leading until the end and this is a feeling that has to be enjoyed by all.
However, a little too much of this can also get annoying for some, so beware. On the other hand, when we finally think that Hae-soo is getting better, she goes ahead and proves us all wrong by reverting back to her usual rushing self. It is definitely a miracle that she is still alive and still going on with trying to play the mastermind.
Altogether, another episode filled with a lot going on and a lot of mysteries left to be unveiled.
