Our Movie Kdrama: Plot & Cast
The new Korean drama follows an unlikely partnership and eventual romance between Lee Je-ha, a once promising but stalled film director and Lee Da-eum, a terminally ill aspiring actress.
Je-ha had a blockbuster entry into the film world with his debut venture that blew the audience and the critics alike. However, fearing for what’s about to come and whether that will ever match his first film, he finds himself stuck. Five years later, he picks up the broken pieces of his dwindling career and decides to make a romantic film surrounding someone with not much time to live.
Through this, he meets Da-eum, who is terminally ill and doesn’t know how long she has. However, she is positive and tries to stay happy, hoping to work in a movie before time runs out. Running into each other at the hospital, Da-eum helps Je-ha out with his script and eventually finds herself working with him, only for the two to get romantically attached to one another.
Through working together, they share their passion for art and confront their morality and creative failures while rediscovering what it means to truly live.
The series boasts a fantastic cast who are sure to leave viewers rooting for the characters. Apart from Jeon Yeo-been and Namkoong Min, we will also see Lee Seol, Seo Hyun-woo, Kwon Hae-hyo, Seo Jung-yeon and others. The series will be directed by Lee Jung-heum and written by Han Ga-eun and Kang Kyung‑min.
Our Movie Release Date and Time
Also known as 우리 영화, the series is set to premiere on June 13, 2025, on SBS, every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM KST. Internationally, the series is expected to release on Disney+ and Hulu.
