His destination was Mexico City. Charly joins him as a manager, and together, they grapple with the challenge of securing gigs to sustain themselves. Along the way, they encounter a group of reformed ex-offenders, initially victims of theft, who eventually befriend them. Amidst this journey, Alexis crosses paths with Azul, a captivating aspiring rapper whose laughter conceals her nerves. Her voice captivates him as the embodiment of goodness, as Alexis has a good sense of understanding in smelling and hearing.
He tried getting different jobs for survival before becoming a stand-up comedian, but because he was disabled, nobody wanted to hire him except Chocho, who ran a bar and needed a bartender. Chocho didn’t know Alexis was blind when he hired him, and because of this, Alexis caused a big loss for Chocho, eventually leading to Alexis being fired. He faced many difficulties, but his friends helped him see he had to try harder. So, Alexis decided to perform only at Chocho’s bar because Chocho treated him well. At first, Chocho wasn’t sure, but they convinced him, and he let Alexis perform there.
As the pivotal night approaches, Alexis battles inner doubts and external pressures, leading to a faltering step back home. Time passes, marked by Charly’s grandmother’s passing, a sorrowful event that reunites the friends but ends in discord. A heart-to-heart with his mother becomes the catalyst for Alexis’s awakening to his missteps and the necessary course of action. Struggling financially and socially adrift in a bustling city, Charly found himself repeatedly robbed of his crutches, his lifeline. In a final plea for assistance, he turned to YouTube, appealing to viewers for financial aid.
In a remarkable turn, Alexis’s father, who always thought that Charly was a bad friend to Alexis, got moved by Charly’s plight and devised a touching solution. Crafting a letter purportedly from Charly’s grandmother, it revealed a surprising inheritance of over 200,000 pesos—a sum secretly saved by Alexis’s father.

However, a turning point arises when Alexis encounters two visually impaired individuals who recognise him solely by his voice. They share videos of Alexis that Charly consistently posts on his YouTube channel, profoundly affecting Alexis. Overwhelmed with emotion and joy, in a poignant moment, Alexis’s father arrives, expressing remorse for hindering his son’s aspirations. Empowered by newfound support and insight, Alexis returns to Mexico City seeking reconciliation with Charly and rekindling his pursuit of a comedy career. In the end, he goes up on stage and fulfils his dream of becoming a comedian.
