No Way Out: The Roulette Episode 1 Review

Korean dramas have often explored the dark side of wealth, vividly illustrating how money can sometimes overshadow human life. This theme, highlighted in popular series like Squid Game and The 8 Show, has become almost expected in contemporary storytelling. No Way Out: The Roulette continues this trend but with a fresh twist. Instead of confining the action to a close setting, this series takes the stakes to a public arena, where the game of roulette involves anyone desperate for money.

The entire city becomes a stage for this high-stakes game, making it accessible to anyone in financial need who dares to participate. In this open setting, the tension and the stakes are magnified, reflecting the series’ intense focus on the impact of financial desperation on human behaviour.
