No Tail To Tell Episode 2 Recap

The episode begins, and Eun-ho is livid that she has lost a substantial amount of spiritual power. Because of this, she storms towards the mysterious man with whom she talked about her status as a gumiho in the previous episode to ask for answers. He then tells her how this happened because she has sinned. He also revealed how a human had died because of her, and that is why she is getting punished. After this, she goes to Si-yeol and tells him to make a wish. They also go through some romantic moments, but Eun-ho dismisses that feeling for obvious reasons.

She then goes on to tell Si-yeol to make a wish, and she even tempts him to wish for others’ if he does not want anything. Then he asks something about taking revenge on the guy who caused his friend’s accident. Just after this, Lee is apprehended by the police, and evidence against him comes to light. Not only that, but the body of a man whom he had killed was also discovered, completely turning his life upside down. That is when Eun-ho gets in contact with him and tells him how she is doing this because she needs to recover the lost spiritual power by doing something good.

After everything works out, she goes to Si-yeol to meet him and tells him how she is the one who has the power to grant wishes like this. She also gives him her card so that he can summon her when he becomes famous. Here, she also tells him her name and exchanges an intimate moment. After this interaction, the team leader of a soccer association comes to meet Si-yeol and tells him how he has been selected for the youth national team.

Following this, Si-yeol goes out of South Korea and ends up becoming a major football player within a few years. Now, he is literally the face of South Korea and getting brand deals left and right. On the other hand, his friend, Woo-seok, who came from a very rich family, is living an average life, and he even throws away all his soccer trophies. Later, Eun-ho goes to meet Si-yeol after his return to South Korea, and he does not even recognise her. This was hilarious because Eun-ho did not think something like this could happen.

But we also see that Si-yeol did not really forget his friend, Woo-seok. He’s the one who contacts Woo-seok often, but his friend refuses to reply to him. In the second half of the episode, he finally meets Eun-ho again, who just appears in his apartment out of nowhere. She again asks him for a wish, and he refuses to say anything because he has everything now and doesn’t desire anything at all. But something absolutely absurd happens later, and Woo-seok’s life changes for the worse.

I really like today’s episode as it was unexpected, and I could not tell what would happen next. The characters are very refreshing because they’re unlike anyone else. There is also ample chemistry between the leads, which is something that many other series lack severely.
