No Longer Allowed In Another World Episode 8 Review: Sensei comes across another broken soul who also needs to be saved. Let’s discover how this episode plays out.
No Longer Allowed In Another World Episode 7 Recap

This episode once again highlighted how this series breaks away from typical Isekai conventions. We begin with a glimpse into Tama’s childhood, where she was always more of a tomboy than the refined Princess her father wanted her to be. Despite her natural strength and talent, especially compared to her gentler brother, Tama was constantly pressured to behave more traditionally, something she deeply resented.
In the present, Tama faces off against Kaibara but struggles to match his overwhelming power. We also learn more about Kaibara’s past life, revealing a man who was far from downtrodden or deprived. Instead, Kaibara grew up in a privileged, wealthy family where he could do as he pleased without consequence. He even attempted to murder a maid, but his family quietly resolved the situation with money. Despite his advantages, Kaibara remained unfulfilled, eventually meeting his end in a car accident and being reincarnated into this new world.

Thankfully, Sensei was too disturbed by Kaibara’s story to send him back to his original life. In contrast, Sensei writes a new narrative for Tama, which has a profoundly positive impact on her abilities. This reveals that Sensei’s power is more unique than just sending otherworlders back; it can reshape their potential in significant ways.
This episode also explored a compelling concept: what happens when a morally grey or even psychopathic individual is reincarnated into an Isekai world? Kaibara, despite his wealth and privilege, believed himself to be a predator destined to dominate others, showing how even in a new world, such a mindset can persist.
No Longer Allowed In Another World Episode 8 Review

Sensei and his companions move towards a new town which is situated near the largest tree in Zauberberg. The tree is called a world tree and it has a myth surrounding its origin. It is said that the tree grants protection to the travellers and the people that live under it. The residents here like to live in solidarity and peace, however, when Sensei and his team reach there, they see an entirely different scenario.
The town is not calm and peaceful anymore as it has been tainted by the presence of a casino. This casino is famous for being a rowdy place and attracting problematic people. However, there is only one saving grace, which is that the casino does not bother the actual residents situated near it. But this is not because the makers of the casino are good-hearted people, but because of the presence of a mysterious woman called Esche.

Esche owns a small bar near the casino and she also dances there. She is the one who is protecting the village but the villagers treat her like a witch who seduces all the men. Sensei also becomes close to Esche and gets captivated by her beautiful dancing. But it is one of the very few moments that actually gave him peace and a good night of sleep. On the other hand, is Esche really a loathsome witch like everyone thinks her to be or is she just being gravely misunderstood?
Verdict

Today’s episode was again a very serious one, where we dive into the distinction between righteousness and evil. Here, with the help of another character called Yamada, we are given a look towards the hypocrisy of humans who never doubt themselves to be in the wrong. Sensei again proves that the majority of the society is blinded by its own superiority, unwilling to confront the truth when it challenges their preconceived notions.
