Ninja Kamui Episode 3 Review: This episode again was a treat from the director of Jujutsu Kaisen. It is an action-packed thriller anime, so let us see how the 3rd episode went in detail below.
Ninja Kamui Episode 3 Overview
Ninja Kamui is a captivating Japanese anime series brought to life by E&H Production and Sola Entertainment, with a touch of executive flair from Williams Street. Making its debut on Adult Swim’s Toonami lineup in February 2024, this show has been eagerly anticipated since its announcement in May 2022. Steering the series is director Sunghoo Park, while the iconic character designs come from Takashi Okazaki.
Ninja Kamui first got everyone buzzing when Adult Swim dropped a teaser trailer at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2023. Other than that, the video game version of Ninja Kamui, called Ninja Kamui: Shinobi Origins, is set to come out in the second quarter of 2024.
The theme song, “Vengeance,” by Coldrain, sets the stage as the opening of the show.
I have tried my best to keep the review as spoiler-free as possible, but there are certain elements that I had to mention to give proper feedback.

Ninja Kamui Episode 3 Review and Recap: New Enemies

This anime is back with another banger of an episode that cleared much of the picture as to what the whole story is going to be about. Till now, it has been established just how brutal and powerful the ninja association is.
They even have the ability to topple governments and erase influential personalities, as they have some very important friends. We also see a new antagonist who is likely going to be the next assassin whom Higan will have to fight before moving on to others. This new assassin is really merciless and has a sadistic streak, so the next time they battle, we can expect an intense altercation.
We also get introduced to another important character who might be the most powerful fighter in the organization. His name is Zai and because of his ruthlessness, he is called a death reaper. Apparently, he has the habit of killing his old teammates, not just because they have defected from the organization but because he simply enjoys it. This is also why many within the current ninja organization hate him and do not agree with his crude ways.
But even though the enemy is exceptionally strong, this does not mean Higan is alone. He has now gotten himself a very reliable partner who is willing to help Higan get to these evil entities because he wants peace for the people, and that is none other than the FBI officer Mike. But to what extent he will be able to help Higan is still something we need to see.
This entire episode was mostly information-heavy as we understand the dynamics between the ninja organization. We also see how they became so strong and how they are in a position where nobody, not even the FBI, can touch them. The animation is, as usual great, with some really interesting sound designs.

But the best aspect of this anime is its pacing. You do not feel like any frame is getting wasted on useless details. Even though, at its heart, the plot is a simple revenge story, the execution of it is really helping the anime to come out as something fresh. I just hope the quality of this anime remains the same till the end.
Verdict
I loved this episode and definitely expect some great things from this series. The next episode is surely going to show some interesting developments and more fast-paced fighting.
So, do not wait anymore and just watch this anime as soon as possible.
