Mini Nineteen to Twenty Couples Reunion: Jungyun, Jiwoo, Heeji, and Pyeongseok Spill Secrets, Catch Up, Enjoy Karaoke Time and More

Netflix had previously already warranted a Nineteen to Twenty couples reunion (열아홉 스물) after wrapping up all episodes of the coming-of-age Korean dating reality show’s first season in August 2023. However, this time reuniting on a smaller scale, some of the cast members sat down together to revel in each other’s company, relive old memories from the show’s set, share new changes in their lives, and divulge the most coveted details of their friendships and relationships formed during the series’ shoot.

The Nineteen to Twenty cast reunion was organised by Esquire Korea, as they welcomed the much-loved quartet of Lim Jung-yun, Jeong Ji-woo, Noh Hee-ji and Kim Pyeong-seok. These four were especially showered with a grand load of love by the audience as Jungyun and Jiwoo , and Heeji and Pyeongseok’s respective pairs caught the eye of the viewers from the get-go, as their building friendship ties at the time also cemented the road to the emotional catharsis felt upon the couples finally sticking together in the end.

In all the time that has passed since then, the latter couple has even come up with a YouTube channel together (어디로든문 or @everywheredoor), while the former still seem to be very much together in the recent Netflix reunion with the rest of the cast members. And now, watching them all in the new video published by the Korean media outlet, their fans are bound to be presented with renewed hope as all four continue to be all smiles with each other.

The Netflix series had captured their transition from standing on the edge of adulthood to finally crossing that bridge and entering a more mature phase of their lives. And with this jump, they’re also now allowed to tap into their newly unlocked means of reminiscing old memories while sharing drinks and even being vulnerable and ready to confide in each other. For this get-together too, the quartet rejoices downing glasses of drinks, as most of them wince at the bitter taste of the supposed adult nectars in their systems.

A few days ago, the same platform had released a prequel video for the latest one, and therein, all four of them took turns to answer fan questions, while also confirming the fact they’re still together with their respective partners since the show had concluded its run. In the video released on September 27, 2023, they settle into a more candid setting and test their drinking capacity, belt out hilarious notes during karaoke time and spill what they’ve been up to so far.

Also, we get another positive nod from Jungyun and Jiwoo that they keep texting each other and meet up every weekend, whereas Heeji shared that she and Pyeongseok couldn’t meet each other as often as they wished to due to their busy schedules. They’d also opened up emotionally on the same topic about how difficult it was to make their long distance relationship work in a separate video uploaded on their new YouTube channel (Linked below).

The rest of the video is a present brewed up by Esquire Korea for the two pairs’ shippers as they take a deep dive into what their movie dates and other hangouts have been like. Safe to say that our lovely Nineteen to Twenty couples are still going strong, and this is the blast of cheerful joy you’ll need to cheer you up today if you’ve rooting for this agenda since the show first streamed on Netflix. Their goofy burst of young energy is just as infectious as it was the first time we were introduced to these youths on the show.
