When Will New Episodes of The Devil’s Plan Release? What to Expect Ahead?

Premiering on September 26, 2023, the newest Korean game reality series has changed the tone set by previously released reality TV titles on OTT, and so awaiting the release date of the new episodes of The Devil’s Plan Netflix series (블스 플랜) is but a natural coping mechanism for us till the action is resumed. The psychological game series introduced us to 12 contestants in its initial episodes, namely, Ha Seok-jin of Problematic Men fame, Korean professional Go player Cho Yeon-woo, freelance announcer Lee Hye-sung, actress and inventor Lee Si-won, and Kpop idol SEVENTEEN’s Boo Seungkwan.

Along with them, Seo Dong-joo – a MIT graduate and a lawyer in America with an MBA degree, comedian and actress Park Kyung-lim, Guillaume Patry – a Canadian gamer, now a professional poker player, Kwedo (aka scientist ORBIT) – former policy advisor to the Blue House, and Kwak Joonbin – a travel YouTuber and a multilingual speaker also joined the cerebral quest. However, as a new twist, two non-celebrity contestants were also welcomed to the set – American orthopaedic surgeon Seo Yoo-min, and a college student, now a professional poker player Kim Dong-jae.

Much like Nineteen to Twenty, a former dating show released on the streamer, the brand new title is also following a weekly premiere pattern for its subsequent episodes, and so not all of them have been unveiled yet. With a long journey ahead of us, if you’re equally hooked on to the show already, then here’s what we reckon will happen in the upcoming episodes.

New Episodes of The Devil’s Plan Release Date

Following 5 The Devil’s Plan episodes will release next week on October 3, 2023 (Tuesday), at 12:30 PM IST on Netflix and pick up from where the action was left off in Episode 4. The first four entries of the show also made way for the first elimination of the show, which unfortunately happened to be Guillaume Patry, a Canadian gamer. On the other hand, a new development sough to overturn the order established in the game arena so far.

What to Expect in The Devil’s Plan Episode 5?

After Seo Dong-joo helps the team win the picture questionnaire quiz by answering all ten questions in a row during the evening prize match in Episode 4, everyone gathers together for drinks at night. Seok-jin had won over five pieces, while the rest of the members of his alliance – Si-won and Dong-jae – only had two (with Guillaume already eliminated), and so he helped pull his teammates up by handing over one piece each to either of them, leaving all three of them with three pieces each.

After the lights go out, scientist ORBIT and Hye-sung also talk as the latter’s eyes well up with tears on feeling helpless in the midst of everything and the pace of the show. ORBIT tries to reassure her, but a flash-forward moment reveals an altercation between the two, again leaving Hye-sung in tears, but this time because of ORBIT’s actions.

Plus, in Episode 2, Dong-jae also happened to chance upon a new twist, eventually opening up about it to Si-won in Episode 3. One of the Pieces that he’d won after the puzzle solving game in Episode 2 was different than the regular ones they’d received at the beginning of the show. So we can count on the upcoming episodes to drop the curtain on these issues and tell us the whole story, possibly in a transfixing moment of plot twist. Stay tuned!
