Little Women Promo: A Look at the Oh Sisters and the Ones They Will Entangle

Our weekends just got better as starring a stellar cast, the latest South Korean series Little Women is set to premiere tonight. The talented bunch of on-screen visuals include Kim Go-Eun, Park Ji-Hoo, Nam Ji-Hyun, Wi Ha-Joon, Kang Hoon, and more.

Netflix has been on the lookout to enlarge its K-drama collection especially since the Hallyu wave has swept the contemporary audience away with its undying charm.

As can be conjectured from the looks of it, Little Women is indeed loosely based on Louisa May Alcott’s novel by the same name. Since the characters will be situated in a South Korean society, we’re intrigued to find out how they will settle into their pre-established personas and twist the narrative as necessary.

The new interpretation of the story revolves around a mysterious bag of money that changes the Oh sisters’ lives forever.

Meeting the Characters of Little Women

Kim Go-Eun, Park Ji-Hoo, and Nam Ji-Hyun form the leading trio of the show, assuming the roles of the Oh sisters. As the plot has it, the three sisters rely on each other in a world run by money and power. Their upbringing didn’t grant them any extravagant getaways. All they ever had was each other and the bare minimum to get by in this world.

Who doesn’t want to live a better and more luxurious life? So, when the opportunity knocks at the door, things start to switch gears. A bag with 70 million won in it finds its way to Kim Go-Eun’s Oh In-Ju, the eldest sister. While this lands them in a better position than before, it only gets them entangled with the richest families leading South Korea as well.

Nam Ji-Hyun’s Oh In-Kyun seems to be the middle sister who is dedicated to her profession, journalism. The youngest of the lot is Oh In-Hye, played by Park Ji-Hoo who dreams of becoming an artist.

Wi Ha-Joon assumes the role of their friend, named Choi Do-Il.

Other than that, the Little Women promo quickly glosses over the faces of investigators and members belonging to the wealthiest households in South Korea. More will be revealed when the show debuts.
