Netflix Geeked Week 2022 Day 1: The Sandman to Locke and Key Season 3, All Teaser-Trailers Revealed

Netflix is doing it yet again! The second time in a row, Netflix Geeked Week 2022 is dedicated to an entire week of nerdy announcements and reveals. This means more trailers, teasers, bloopers and series/movies introduced to audiences all around the world. The second annual Geeked Weekend will range from June 6, 2022, to June 10, 2022. It is reported that more than 60 project titles will be featured in this power-packed nerdy week.

Each day of the week is centred around a specific theme. Geeked Week kicked off on Monday, June 6, 2022, revolving around TV series and making some jaw-dropping announcements. Check out this list to know what was revealed on day one!

The Sandman Teaser Trailer & Date Announcement

The tease for The Sandman has been going on for a long time. The live-action adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s book finally got a proper teaser trailer along with its release date and introduction to the major characters. The show will arrive on Netflix on August 5, 2022.

Wednesday Teaser

From the imagination of Tim Burton, we get a twisted new series coming soon to Netflix. Jenna Ortega is set to star in the title role and audiences have been going crazy about her scream queen’s new look. Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman, Gwendoline Christie, Christina Ricci will also be part of the cast.

The Midnight Club Teaser

Mike Flanagan meets Christopher Pike in the adaption of the latter’s popular book. Coming to Netflix on October 7, the series will be set in a mysterious manor where 8 members of the titular club selling out sinister stories.

One Piece First Look

The first look clip of this live-action adaption shows actor Iñaki Godoy and showrunners Steven Maeda and Matt Owens introduce a behind the scenes glimpse of bringing the world of One Piece to life.

Resident Evil Trailer

Welcome back to the world of Umbrella Corporation! Based on the horror franchise Resident Evil and the T-virus, the upcoming show will arrive on the OTT platform on July 14th.
