My Name is Gabriel Episode 11 Recap
The episode continues Dex’s adventure as Rati as he is taken to dig dirt with the father and son and within the next two hours, the trio completes the task. Following this, Dex and the father head to the latter’s workshop where he makes the Qvevries (earthenware used for making Georgian wine). Dex is excited to see how this goes and is eager to know more about this tradition being passed down to the real Rati.
He assists the father in making rolls out of the dirt and later observes how he begins a new Qvevry, following him into doing the same. However, noticing his failing pottery, he makes use of the chance he gets when the father is distracted and exchanges their pottery before he returns. His little tricks make the old man laugh out loud while he goes along with Dex’s goofiness.
As the duo continued to work there, Dex reminisced how beautiful and calm the scene felt to him as he worked on the pottery while the father tapped the pots in the back. Later, he walks back to join another feast prepared by the mother and spends another fun time on the dining table with this new family.

Later, he accompanies the father to watch television and ends up giving him a foot massage, after which he goes to sleep. The next morning, he wakes up late once again and the new day’s task list includes making chacha, cleaning the Qvevry pots used for making wine, and getting a gift for the daughter’s birthday.
But before that, he begins the day by helping out the mother and breakfast in the vineyard where he finds out the story behind the couple’s marriage. Following this, he begins the tasks by first helping the father make a new batch of chacha which he has been enjoying for the past few days. After this, he gets on to cleaning the Qvevry that is placed underground.
He heads inside the big pot and begins the work, while the father doesn’t lose his chance to play tricks on Dex like he has been doing to him. As he closes off the lid with Dex inside which leaves the latter panicking while he comes back to open it and acts as though it was closed by someone else. Dex laughs at this and soon finishes his work, after which they head to grab some lunch.
During lunch, the couple discusses the upcoming birthday party for the daughter and soon sets off with Dex to the market where they prepare for the party.

With this, the scene shifts Gabee’s adventure which comes to a pause at the square when another musical group tries to occupy the place they caught first. While the argument over the place continues, Gabee tries to learn a bit about the drums so that she can perform better. Finally, the argument comes to a pause and they begin their performance at the square.
Soon, the music attracts the crowd which does not shy away from showing off their moves while Gabee joins them too. As the energy in the air increases, the group plays in the square for a while before moving on to find customers to play for. As the group goes around the area to play for different people, Gabee is encouraged by the many gifts given to her by the people around them.
This makes her tear up as she is touched by the kindness shown by them all. The day soon comes to an end and the next day, the group gathers to plan their performance at the Xochimilco, where they perform on boats. Gabee suggests putting up a dance performance in traditional clothing to energise the customers while the other members play their instruments.
The others agree and they soon head shopping, followed by the Xochimilco where they board their boat and begin rehearsing. After a couple of songs, the boat begins to move and Gabee tries to attract customers, and the group soon gathers a lot of attention and Gabee’s plan works wonders. The energy stays up with every performance and Gabee does not let it come down no matter how tiring it is.

The performances becomes a huge success and later during dinner, Gabee is happy to know that she has been able to be of help to the group. Following dinner, the day doesn’t end for Gabee as she is taken for another rehearsal, but this time it is for something different. Gabee is surprised to find out that Usiel had asked to take part in a Soapbox race and now it is her work to take part in this race.
The race will soon be held and she needs to help out in completing their race car, which triggers her competitive side. With a newfound enthusiasm, Gabee is ready to work on this new task and with this, the episode comes to an end.
