My Lovely Liar Episode 13 Reactions: Do-ha, Sol-hee Set the Standard for Healthy Relationships

My Lovely Liar Episode 13 reactions (소용없어 거짓말) are rolling out on X (formerly Twitter), stating the show’s weekly viewers’ takes, responses and theories after the newest episode aired on tvN on September 11, 2023. The drama series written by Seo Jeong-eu, and directed by Nam Sung-woo stars Kim So-hyun and Hwang Min-hyun in lead roles, and their characters of Mok Sol-hee and Kim Do-ha became instant favourites among viewers.

With each new episode, the series has been digging deeper into the mystery at hand and making thing more complex than before. Eom-ji’s disappearance and possible murder case is close to being wrapped up and resolved, but the show is simultaneously dedicating its runtime to fully fleshing out Do-ha and Sol-hee’s affectionate relationship, which has raised the viewers’ standards for good.

The Korean series first premiered on July 31, 2023, and has been airing on tvN every Monday and Tuesday at 20:50 KST. It is also available for streaming on Viki and Viu in select regions. The supporting cast of the show includes Seo Ji-hoon as Lee Kang-min, a detective, Yoo Ji-on as Deuk-chan, the CEO of J Entertainment and Lee Si-woo as Syaon, a top solo singer.

My Lovely Liar Episode 13 Reaction - Hwang Min-hyun and Kim So-hyun

The show’s plot mainly revolves around So-hyun who plays Mok Sol-hee, a woman with super-abilities allowing her to hear other people’s lies. As for Min-hyun, he plays Kim Do-ha a famous composer who is also a murder suspect. In order to stay out of the public eye, he changes his name. His stage name is known to be “K”.

After the thirteenth episode broadcast, netizens are again focussing on how the “Do-Sol couple” has brought on one of the healthiest representations of onscreen relationships in recent times. Moreover, despite Kang-min being roped into the love triangle with them earlier, he still makes significant contributions to the plot by solving Eom-ji’s murder case, and his character arc isn’t singularly reduced to him being the stereotypical “second male lead” of a K-drama.

The latest episode also saw the fan-favourite couple pairing up to solve the mystery, but in the midst of all that they even got ambushed by Jae-chan. Nevertheless, both Do-ha and Sol-hee stood strong beside each other, but that’s not to say that danger has already surpassed them because the Episode 14 preview for Tuesday’s entry has again raised alarms among the fans of the onscreen pair. One of the X users even tweeted about wanting to see the cute couple as detectives in another K-drama, while others focussed on how they’re still going strong despite everything that has happened to them.

Sol-hee’s warm relationship with her father also became a new point of discussion for the viewers. In the midst of all the heartbreaking troubles met by the main characters of the show, netizens were also able to rejoice in the simple happy moments shared between them. Here’s how they reacted to the newest episode.
