My Lovely Liar Episode 11 Reactions: Sol-hee’s Lunch Box Heals Do-ha and His ‘Protection Squad’

My Lovely Liar Episode 11 reactions (소용없어 거짓말) are now rolling out on X (formerly Twitter), stating the show’s weekly viewers’ takes, responses and theories after the newest episode aired on tvN on September 4, 2023. The drama series written by Seo Jeong-eu, and directed by Nam Sung-woo stars Kim So-hyun and Hwang Min-hyun in lead roles, and their characters of Mok Sol-hee and Kim Do-ha became instant favourites among viewers.

With each new episode the show has been digging deeper into the mystery at hand, relating to Eom-ji’s disappearance and possible murder, while also warmly embracing Do-ha and Sol-hee’s new lovely relationship. The series first premiered on July 31, 2023, and has been airing on tvN every Monday and Tuesday at 20:50 KST. It is also available for streaming on Viki and Viu in select regions. The supporting cast of the show includes Seo Ji-hoon as Lee Kang-min, a detective and Lee Si-woo as Syaon, a top solo singer.

The show’s plot mainly revolves around So-hyun who plays Mok Sol-hee, a woman with super-abilities allowing her to hear other people’s lies. As for Min-hyun, he plays Kim Do-ha a famous composer who is also a murder suspect. In order to stay out of the public eye, he changes his name. His stage name is known to be “K”.

Episode 11 featured Do-ha heading out to the location where Eom-ji, his ex-girlfriend’s remains claimed to have been discovered. The whole situation, especially with Do-ha being pulled back into the public’s purview as one of the major suspects in the 5-year old murder case, has not been easy to deal with for the protagonist of the show. However, thankfully, he had the lunch box Sol-hee prepared for him to ease his heartache and fears. Netizens have clearly turned into a “protection squad” for Min-hyun’s character, and they were equally warmed by Sol-hee’s heartfelt gesture.

With each episode, viewers are only further falling deeply in love with the “Do-Sol” couple, seeing Min-hyun and So-hyun’s well played out chemistry flourish and deepen. The two characters even proudly confirmed and showed off their relationship in public this time. In addition to the obvious love track of the series, many viewers have also taken to empathising with the characters on the show, and not just Do-ha, but also Eom-ji’s brother, who’s been desperately hanging on to the case while grieving for his sister.

Moreover, Do-ha’s growing character development in the past few episodes has struck the right chord with the viewers, who are feeling proud of how far he is come in terms of facing the situation head on instead of racing away from it. On the other hand, Yoon Ji-on’s character, Cho Deuk-chan aka the CEO of J Entertainment, has been brought up into the conversation every week as many theories have speculated against him having taken on the role of the bad guy. Whether that’s true or not, we’ll have to wait for the last few remaining episodes of the series to confirm the same for us.
