My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Episode 10 Recap

The episode begins by shedding light on Knuckleduster’s past, revealing that his wife is suffering from a terminal illness. It’s suggested that Hachisuka might be linked to her condition, which explains why Knuckleduster is so determined to track her down. To dig deeper, he enlists Soga’s help, sending him to investigate Hachisuka at her school. However, once Hachisuka catches on, she launches an attack using her bees to stop him.
Despite being personally entangled in this situation, Knuckleduster chooses to keep Pop Step and Koichi out of it, believing they’ve been through enough already. Meanwhile, it’s hinted that Hachisuka is residing in a disturbing environment, possibly surrounded by the corpses of her own parents. The darkness surrounding her character becomes more unsettling with each new reveal.

Elsewhere, Pop Step is offered a chance to perform at a major event, but she’s unsure whether to accept. Koichi, not knowing how to support her, turns to Makoto for guidance. Ultimately, Pop Step agrees to Makoto’s assistance, hoping it will help her shine on stage.
My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Episode 11 Review

This episode starts with the preparation for the event that Pop Step will be a part of. Here, Pop Step comes in her usual no-makeup form with Koichi who is helping her as her manager. But her first experiences with her peers were not that good because an idol duo started to say bad things about Pop. The other performers are also quite interesting as we see a dance team and a band. This entire event is being planned by Makoto.
Thus, for an entire week before the performance, everyone does their best to practise as much as possible. Pop Step also relentlessly works on her singing skills because, according to many, she is not a very good singer. Koichi helps her out in his own way, as he supports her entirely by letting her practise in his room and looking after her meals and everything. On the other hand, we see Captain Celebrity defeating monsters and promoting the event to the general public. This is exactly why, when the event starts later, it sees a larger audience than it would have seen had it not involved Captain Celebrity.

The day of the event finally arrives, and the anticipation for it is off the charts. However, trouble is also brewing because Hachisuka has devised the perfect plan to disrupt the event and also cause as much commotion as possible. Here, we also see many of the beloved pro heroes from the main franchise make a debut, like the characters of Midnight and Present Mic. Later, even Aizawa makes an appearance while he is defeating a villain that Hachisuka unleashes upon the city.
Verdict

In this episode, things become a bit more serious than usual, and I genuinely felt bad for the villain Aizawa fights because he definitely was not evil from the beginning. Hachisuka really ruined him, and his admiration for Pop Step becomes the base for his rampage. However, the standout moment of this episode was definitely the shocking revelation that we got at the end.
