My Happy Marriage Episode 12 Preview: My Happy Marriage (My Blissful Marriage) or Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon (わたしの幸せな結婚) is an upcoming anime series which will be premiering on Netflix. Based on the light novel of the same name written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka, it also has a manga adaptation illustrated by Rito Kohsaka.
The live-action film adaptation of the fantasy series was released in Japan on March 2023. Following the story of Miyo, who enters an arranged marriage with a ruthless commander, officially got its own anime series announced to be directed by Takehiro Kubota under Kinema Citrus Studios. Ami Satō, Takahito Ōnishi and Momoka Toyoda are credited as the writers, and Evan Call gives the music.
Licensed under Netflix, the series is scheduled to run for 13 episodes. With an estimated duration of 20-25 minutes each, the episodes are available in English dub and subtitles. The opening theme song is Anata no Soba ni (貴方の側に。, “By Your Side”) by Riria and the ending theme song, Vita Philosophica (ヰタ・フィロソフィカ), is performed by Kashitarō Itō.

My Happy Marriage Plot
The plot of the show is set in the early fictional years of Japan, where possessing supernatural powers holds the utmost form of respect. However, Miyo, following the death of her mother, leads a rather miserable life with her stepmother and stepsister. As she possesses no power, she is deemed as a useless member of the household, and everyone in the family devalues her. She is married off to a ruthless commander named Kudou, and her life completely changed since then.
My Happy Marriage Characters
The story will mainly follow Miyo Saimori and Kiyoka Kudo’s married life. Other supporting and recurring characters include Kaya Saimori, Kōji Tatsuishi, Yurie, Yoshito Godō, Arata Tsuruki, Kazushi Tatsuishi, Takaihito and others.

In the next episode, Miyo will finally be reunited with Lord Kudo. However, it will not last long as more problems arise after she finally awakens her powers. Moreover, will Kudo survive the vicious attack he encountered? We will find out in the next episode.
My Happy Marriage 11 Recap
In the eleventh episode, Miyo finally finds out more about her origin. Miyo’s mother makes a huge sacrifice by marrying the Saimori family when the Usubas are going through a financial crisis. However, she finds out that the Saimoris were only after her power and did not care for her well-being. So to protect her daughter from getting exploited, she seals Miyo’s powers. When the right time comes, Miyo herself can willingly take it back. Miyo touches the tree where her power resides and finally awakens it.
Meanwhile, Lord Kudo is fighting some demons, and he gets severely injured. After finding out about his condition, Miyo instantly goes to meet up with him, although she is breaking one of the major rules.
