My Happy Marriage Episode 11 Ending Explained: The eleventh episode premiered on September 13, 2023, on Netflix. My Happy Marriage (My Blissful Marriage) or Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon (わたしの幸せな結婚) is an upcoming anime series which will be premiering on Netflix. Based on the light novel of the same name written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka, it also has a manga adaptation illustrated by Rito Kohsaka.
The live-action film adaptation of the fantasy series was released in Japan on March 2023. Following the story of Miyo, who enters an arranged marriage with a ruthless commander, officially got its own anime series announced to be directed by Takehiro Kubota under Kinema Citrus Studios. Ami Satō, Takahito Ōnishi and Momoka Toyoda are credited as the writers, and Evan Call gives the music.
Licensed under Netflix, the series is scheduled to run for 13 episodes. With an estimated duration of 20-25 minutes each, the episodes are available in English dub and subtitles. The opening theme song is Anata no Soba ni (貴方の側に。, “By Your Side”) by Riria and the ending theme song, Vita Philosophica (ヰタ・フィロソフィカ), is performed by Kashitarō Itō.

The latest episode is more focused on the plot and displays significant development in Miyo’s character. We finally find out what caused Miyo to stay in such deplorable and miserable circumstances for most of her life. Her mother made incredible sacrifices to keep her protected from the people who only wished to use her.
Why did Sumi seal Miyo’s power?
Due to some financial circumstances, the Usuba family was going through an extremely hard time. However, the Saimoris offered their help in exchange for marrying Sumi into their family. But Sumi’s father was against the proposal. To protect her community, Sumi went against her father’s wishes and got married to the Saimori. Soon she lost all contact with her family and remained secluded. Moreover, she suffered from a deadly disease, and her days were limited.
When she found out that the Saimoris were only concerned about inheriting the powers that the Usuba possessed, she decided to protect her daughter at all costs. Sumi then decided to seal away Miyo’s powers in order to stop her from getting exploited by the Saimoris. She sealed all the power inside a tree and when the time comes, Miyo can choose to take it all back.
Why cannot Miyo leave the Usuba household?
Both Arata and the grandfather revealed that there is a bigger reason why Miyo is not allowed to leave the Usuba household. Arata said that they made a deal with the Emperor to bring back Miyo to the Usubas with the condition that she will not be allowed to have any contact with another person with supernatural power.
What happened to Kiyoka?
During an intense fight with the monsters, Kiyoka was extremely hurt. The injury was severe and he became unconscious instantly. When Miyo found out about his condition, she immediately went over to check on him, although she would be breaking a huge rule. Later she also finds out that her power might actually save Kiyoka.
