My Happy Ending Kdrama: When and Where is the Jang Na-ra Starrer Psychological Thriller Series Releasing?

Nearly 7 years later, Jang Na-ra and Son Ho-jun are all set to reunite for their new small screen project, My Happy Ending Kdrama (나의 해피엔드). They were last seen together in the 2017 Korean drama series, Go Back Couple or Confession Couple. After all this time, their fans can once again expect great things from their favourites as they’ll be starring as a married couple in the upcoming psychological drama show. The mystery series has been written by Baek Seon-hee, and directed by Jo Soo-won and Kim Sang-hoon. It will present an inflated look at the wedded couple’s perfect life that’ll soon experience a catastrophic blow.

This series will bring the audiences’ attention to how things can seem perfect one second, but completely fall apart the next. Despite having worked so hard to put her life together so meticulously, Na-ra’s character will be left with no choice but to face the worst of it all that’s headed her way. Seo Jae-won finally has a grasp on her perfect life, both personally and professionally. As a successful CEO and a prominent social media influencer, she’s reached a triumphant juncture in her life. On top of that, she’s married to her beloved husband Heo Soon-young, who’s given it all to their family and deems their union his utmost priority. With all that’s going well for the couple, a tiny crack can lead to severe destruction.

This crack comes into Jae-won’s life in flesh as Kwon Yun-jin, an old acquaintance from the former’s university days. Yun-jin is going through a divorce when she reconnects with Jae-won, and seeing her well-put-together life, she can’t help but envy Jae-won’s achievements. Before she knows it, Jae-won’s life starts falling apart, and she can’t trust all that she’d held close to her heart originally. Secrets and betrayals star bubbling up, leaving Jae-won with the burning question if anything in her life was ever worth trusting.

My Happy Ending Release Date and Trailer

The South Korean series is set to premiere on TV Chosun on December 30, 2023, at 9:10 PM KST. Its episodes will air every weekend, with one episode broadcasting on Saturday and the other on Sunday. Also known as My Happy End, this K-series is expected to have a 16-episode run. Episodes will also be made available later on streaming platforms Viu and Viki in select international countries. Audiences from Southeast Asian countries can tune into tvN Asia on December 31 for the first episode. Broadcast schedule for them will be slated for every Sunday and Monday, 21:15 (GMT +8).
